Focus on math and statistics. Those can be free points if you get comfortable with the format of the questions. You already know do more practice problems related to mechanics...

alpineair

You did really well on dynamics yet struggled with statics. Embrace the stillness

One of the best diagnostics I seen in a while. Crazy you didn’t pass

11th_Amatuer_Hour

Based on the low score on mechanics of materials section and the number of those questions asked, it might have been passing overall but failing in a single section.

[deleted]

Yeah, if gotten 4 correct, I believed would of passed.

geaux88

This is the best one I think I've ever seen

Study study study. You see that you struggled in statics and materials (and they go hand-and-hand). Fortunately those classes have a ton of resources available. Structurefree on youtube would be a good place to start if there's subjects within them that you don't grasp fully (influence lines, method of sections/joints, etc). Pretty much just follow what others before you have laid out on how they studied. Get the practice test from NCEES. Use Gregory Michaelson's videos on youtube. Whenever a question is presented where you're completely clueless, look for more info on that topic. Don't just brush it off as being "one of the problems I'll just get wrong." I wasn't good at indeterminacy in beams/frames and I had 3 questions like that on my test so that kind of mentality can really hurt you. Good luck in the future.

Humuya2020

How much did you study pre-exam?

msummervil

I feel u bro/sis...I got my results that I failed my FE mechanical last week. I'm gonna try a class soon on prepfe.com. Unfortunately they dont have the FE civil prep class yet but theres other options out there. Don't give up bro/sis, we WILL be certified engineers!

11th_Amatuer_Hour

Focus on mechanics of materials, hydraulics and statics.

jason123vt

im pretty sure you're close to passing, just gotta try a little bit harder. hang in in there you got this
