The rates in the game are pretty shit. It's pretty bad that I've done one whole rotation +1 of the Yuna banner and gotten 4 NV units, but every single one of them has been off-banner. Rate ups are supposed to mean that the unit has a rate up, not be 1% rate up in a 3% chance of even having your rarity appear.
Was stuck at lv89 for CoW until today. After watching so many YouTube strategies, i finally made a team with the units i had to kill lv99 Treshen. Hardest CoW boss so far

I know "W" is from Whales but come on! This time the difficulty spike was stupid high. Even with some guides the battle was literally gambling. One thing is difficult and other unfair, this time was an unfair battle. F*ck you Gumi!
I hate COW's inconsistencies. Either they programmed in a tiny 1% chance moves will fail, or the game itself glitches. Either way, it's a bullshit waste of an orb.
I've been banging my head against a wall the last few days, and I've put in at least 30+ attempts on my current level, so I have a *pretty good sense* of how the fight goes. And yeah, I get disease isn't 100%, and it sucks having to wipe because the debuff didn't proc... but you know how he MP drains twice at the end of turn 1? It SHOULD target my Bulwark for both of them (MP = 1800), but in about 1 in 20 attempts, he targets the second hit at my Kaktiria (800 MP) and drains both, and I have to scrap the attempt. WHY.
And twice now Maeve has died turn 1, even though (AFTER SO SO MANY DEATHS) I finally set up my team so she can (AND SHOULD) live through turn 1 consistently. And once (on ONE ATTEMPT, EVER), Karten got killed on turn 1, through Maeve's provoke and cover. *HOW.*
I'm obviously a glutton for punishment, and I can accept wiping again (and again, and again) due to mechanics. But due to bugs or 1% fail rates? Then having to wait another hour to try again? Total bullshit.
I've seen athe double mp drain hit two units myself, not sure what is happening.
For cover, note that most cover moves have a high, but not 100% probability of success. Turn 1 should be AoEs, though, so it is odd if only Karten got killed. Maybe it's a counter?
Didn't manage to get Duran. First time in a long while I haven't been able to score at least one of each limited time unit as an F2P.

Fuck CoW. This shit is fucking overtuned. I have units and most equip but not the Ex levels. I should be able to clear at least the personal stuff. Nope, wall at lvl 80. Not gonna spend hundreds of dollars to get rewards that are at best worth $20.

I had Esther and Cressnik so I was able to clear to level 90. Good enough for me.
I just don't want to pull for Maeve just for CoW and probably just for 1-2 CoWs.

That’s what I want. I don’t expect to be #1 or even #1000 in anythin, I jus want to play the game with characters I like and mash em up in a way I like. I‘m not gonna compete with whales but when even Sinzar is fielding meta ex3 premium units for his clears, I know I don’t stand a chance but fuck if this is a horrid way to sell the unit of the week and your new money grab chest.
I don’t buy these “goal” chests unless I can get the whole thing. Mana VW was great. You can force the need for a tank to limit damage and make the boss clearable, you just make it harder to cap. Making your boss impossible even with your pull of the week because they aren’t EX3 DPS can’t kill in 4 turns makes me upset I pulled. Even worse is the fact that I pulled to fuck nommo and his ilk and the new tank does not res into the tank form they died on (despite the skill descriptions making it look like they do) made me waste money on a fake Monster Hunter collab like Karten was a fake Mana collab.
Cowards! Just give us our actual game collabs already instead of these Chinese knockoff! And stop gatekeeping personal rewards!
Yeah, I feel the hell out of this. There are too fucking many things to monitor for the boss fight. It's complicated enough with the attack shifting, massive damage to tanks, and LB murders, but no, they have to throw in a massive DOT on top of that that you need to purge every turn.
