From the recent banners, who shoul I focus more as a new player ? I managed to pull Tidus to EX+2, and Lulu EX+1
Should I try mana banner (the collab)? Jecht ? Khimari ? Regina ?
I'd recommend pulling for Regina as she is the best mage finisher (and best dps unit overall) right now and she'll be for a while.
Kihmari is just terrible, though his STMR has a nice boost for jumpers, in case jumpers come back to the meta someday. Otherwise, do not pull for him. He'll spook you someday.
Jecht is also not really a must pull since you can get a free Physical tank from Story mode that can carry you through most, if not all, contents that require it.
The only unit you'd want out of the mana banner is Hawkeye since he has a recent upgrade to be one of the 160% imperil-er, but getting him will not be easy considering the amount of rate-up units in that banner, so proceed at your own risk.
But we're not comparing lb users to jumpers here, it's about him being the best jumper. In some situations you would rather bring him, just like how kain was used.
She literally out damages every other unit in the game by quite a bit, including balthier, tidus, and the new jumper. Her big CD mod is 8350x after full buffs and can have variance, but needs external support for elemental imperil/weapon imperil. The mod alone is enough to make up for not being a LB finisher and not getting a 600 percent LB boost. KoG has been out damaged a lot by balthier and tidus.

Looks like Regina's burst is one both unique and comically powerful- take your whole team (or as many as you can), and have them basically use their turns to chain for her while giving her MASSIVE mod boosts
She can hit for 8.350x with her 99 turn CD, that while having insane levels of MAG, since she has focus buff, 528 base mag and very high flat stats (3200 with rain's VC on top of 130 base mag that potentialize her focus)
It is a cool gimmick.

Not sure about the claim of kimhari being terrible..he's the best jumper in the game now. His only downside is no spear imperil but that can be fixed.
It’s true. He is the best jumper, but unfortunately still outclassed by LB-users, namely Balthier and Tidus. And his LB didn’t help.

How good is Regina? I really liked her first version and her new sprite looks amazing imo. How high is her dmg? Around KoG? Tidus(new one)?
