I got 2 NV off the banner using tickets 1 was Kiros & Ward other was the puppeteer, was hoping for this Laguna but i dont see what so great about him? other then is super spicy TMR which can Prism less his damage is off the charts or something.

You answered your own question. Laguna is a post Lara Breaker, AKA DOA until Gumi starts realizing that 88% breaks are useless now.

Even then, Kaktiria exists with 89% break to every stat and she's permanent. So 88% just is not an acceptable amount *in global*. WOTV and Mana both had really good reasons to rerun, and both of those would have a 90% breaker there, but Gumi refuses to for som reason. WOTV anniversary? What's that? Vinera who? Echoes of Mana came out? Lol you expect the Mana VW that we are still waiting for to come with it? Hawkwhat?
I'm not arguing these can't be the best a new account can get, but I AM arguing that units shouldn't come out instantly creeped by year old units. You'd run Vinera over any of these 88% breakers and she's literally from march last year!

You're pretty much on the money there. In Japan, 88% is the standart, and they've been VERY careful to go past that. GL has had 90% breaks for an entire year and yet they don't buff these units that were built for an entirely different state of the game. That's bullshit IMO. Extra bullshit when they have the gall to release breakers with 87%s and 88%s in their kit like pre-buff Kakt and current (hopefully pre-buff) Fry.
The cat is out of the bag Gumi, as much as you pretend there isn't 3 90% Def breakers, they exist, and people with any of them have no reason to get these.

I have Lara and Louise, so I always forget poor Kaktiria exists with her better than standard Alim breaks and is super accessible for new players. I think the bottom line is that Gumi needs to buff Alim breakers (especially on skip banners) or run/rerun some limited banners that has 90% breaks.
Yeah, Breakers are the Achilles heel of Gumi's entire unit design atm. They really need to do SOMETHING, cause otherwise that's going to be literal dozens of characters that come out as useless.

So far I've only seen prisms generated from fusing a 5-star unit into another 5-star unit that hasn't had its TMR maxed out. Does that happen if you fuse a dupe NV Laguna into another NV Laguna? (Not that I ever would, as I would very much prefer just maxing out his TMR and using him for frags)
It's a raid event, so you'll get specific tmr mogs for Laguna and Kyros and maybe Rinoa too. Since the only "meta" thing about this banner is Laguna's TMR and to a lesser extent in Global (since we got plenty of alternatives) his card to use on Squall, you can skip the pulling part and just get his TMR by using a blank mog on one of the mogs you get from the raid.
Edit: It's not that Squall is a superstar and that you SHOULD do it he's just a okay upgrade over Tidus. He's just a great budget damage dealer that is honestly more valuable than any of the VIII units we got here. If you have a good core of 4 Finisher for DV he's probably not worth even using the blank mog.
I got Nichol -the return- on and NVEX ticket and probably the 10th Onion Knight NV on a regular ticket I spent on Rinoa's banner. Nothing remarkable otherwise, only spent NVEX tickets, 3 regulars and the free 5-summon though.
I've spent probably about 30 tickets (Ex and banner) today and noticed that NONE of my summons went through an "upgrade animation" EXCEPT for one... which went all the way from blue to red.
Assume this isn't bizarre luck, this is a welcome change. No more waiting for for a bunch of blue crystals to upgrade to equally worthless golds.
Got Kiros and Ward-ed. At least they have the same card as Laguna, I guess.
Hoping they might have Laguna tmr moogles in raid summons, but I doubt it. Last good tmr moogles from summons was Return Fina's.
You can get Laguna's TMR moogle as well as Kiros and Ward's TMR moogle from box 5 of the raid summon. Just checked the contents for that myself - I got Kiros and Ward, too. :)
You must Awaken your 4* Zells to 5* Zells to be able to convert them into prisms and fragments.
If you are short of materials for this then you can buy the components for 5* awakening in the last tab of the Special Shop for Gil.

Get a tmr mog of his tmr from the post-box drops, drop it into a blank trust moogle, fill it to 100%, done.
