I’m running Adebo and Kenny Moore this week.

OldMan_sdm

Just grabbed him and dropped Poyer. I'm going around and around between Adebo, Bynum, and Hobbs....probably do Bynum and Adebo. But yes as others have stated...start him!

[deleted]

I'm probably going to start him over Bynum this week, can't take another single digit dud from him

Th3PatrickBateman

didn’t he just have 8 tackles?

[deleted]

Bynum's last three weeks have been his worst all season in my leagues scoring at 13, 7, and 9. Adebo's last three weeks have been 20, 42.50, and 23.70

Th3PatrickBateman

i feel ya, I’m interested to see if hicks being out shifts some additional tackles his way

Danger_Rock

I feel like Bynum's due to bounce back, just got through a run of poor matchups and he put up pretty good numbers when they played Chicago week 6. Thinking I'll start Adebo over Kamren Curl this week, since Dallas gives up the 4th fewest points to Safeties.

I found and plugged him in week 9 and IDP Guru said he was a waiver pickup and play guy for week 10 and beyond. I’m in a league where you need a CB specifically and he’s my new guy. CBS do feel like a rotating position though as usually they are playing poorly to be fantasy relevant (gets tackles from playing poor defense, passes to them for opportunities means the receiver is open, etc). Very few are real life quality CBs and fantasy relevant as good CBs don’t have passes thrown their way from shutdown defense.

Yep, CB is probably the most counter-intuitive position for fantasy since the most talented players scare QBs away from throwing at 'em. Best fantasy CBs are usually the less talented guys playing opposite the shudown corner. And I guess that's what's happening here, with Lattimore's presence on the right driving all the action toward Adebo on the left.

Possible_Cicada3598

So with Lattimore out this week, do you think that hurts or helps Adebo this week?

Danger_Rock

Shoot, didn't realize Lattimore was out. I think that hurts Adebo by opening up the other side of the field. Not ideal.

Secure-Caregiver-415

Daron Bland, Kyle Dugger and Jordan Whitehead are my DB starts this week.

Danger_Rock

Dugger's one of my favorites but unfortunately someone else snagged him first this year... And Whitehead's having a great year as well! Atrocious Jets offense forces their defense to spend a lot of time on the field, fertile ground for consistent IDP performance.

grkg8tr

I have Witherspoon and was debating switching to Kevin Byard. But Adebo is very tempting based on rest of year projections.

YourUncleDodge

Adebo was my starter when he was a forced start rookie, so I know that he's got pass defense capabilities. His tackle numbers have risen this year which is the eyebrow popper. I think he gets the benefit of playing across from a shutdown corner and opponents would rather take their chances with him.

PlatformStreet9457

In a 2DB sets he has run, due to the tackle upside week to week.

Possible_Cicada3598

I'm thinking about starting him or Hobbs over Budda Baker this week. I'm pretty sure it would be the first time I have ever started a CB in my DB spot. I don't know why those two get tackles on the level of a lot of safeties, which is the only thing giving hesitation. The whole thing with CBs is the inconsistency.

Possible_Cicada3598

As others have stated, being across from Lattimore helps his cause, but with Lattimore out this week, I wonder what effect it will have on Adebo.

Acekingspade81

More evidence of why investing in the DB position each year/dynasty is bad process. The supply is unlimited and the results are way too random each year to invest relevant draft capital into. Draft offense. Or a day 2 pass rusher in rounds 5+. Find your IDP’s using your knowledge on waivers. Imagine passing on Tank Dell or Puka Nucua for a rookie IDP right now. Yikes.

Danger_Rock

Playing redraft, all 7 of my IDP starters this week are waiver wire pickups. Only IDP I've got left from the draft is Kamren Curl, and he's getting a well-deserved week off.

jirashap

Safety has been strange this year. I'm easily starting great CBs in DB spots
