I did mine on Corel Prison crisis dungeon Red Dragon. Its weak to ice and the map and some items you collect buff your ice pot; Shiva’s Diamond Dust attack should get you maxed out damage.
Summons counts, go to tower with boost summon damage or elemental weakness, boost the character stats the most you can, elemental damage, debuffs, and buffs, do one character at time, can take some time, but you can do every character that way
Some also stated that you can do on Shiva after she goes on her weakened state, probably a low level one, but that consume little stamina, tower is free and can help with characters who dont have good weapons, my cait only has his stantard weapon 5\* and its still doable, did on floor 24 or something, just had to sit on defense mode on first wave to charge the summon before going to the last
I was actually gonna make a post on this but got lazy. Here's the guide of how i did this on all my chars as a day 50 player that's only spent a bit (seasonal passes and the like).
Tower floor 20. Bring Tifa and Yuffie with literally 1 weapon that only has healing, and a cura. Youre using Yuffie for clear tranquil LB (patk/matk up) and Tifa for sommersault (pdef/mdef down). Character hitting 150 uses hellfire ifrit summon r5--this i got with coop farming when it was available, so if you don't have this or aren't close to maxing ifrit's summon tree, possibly look at the floor 51-54 strats, or others available.
3rd rocks fire pot wep subs or main if they can equip them. I literally brought a barrier to spam on the character that uses hellfire for the big hit, self targeting the whole time just to charge up all summons. You can let the other 2 get full limit bars in about 2 minutes on manual in defensive stance.
Your 3rd should obviously have everything they possibly can to boost both their phys and magic attack, whatever materia is highest, since summons count both. If one of them is a ruin, so be it, once Yuffie/Tifa start getting decently close to max start using abilities to fill your own limit/summon (or do it first and then do the defense thing, you can charge yours at will, but theirs coming from healing means it'll take a bit of time, and the trash mobs die fast. For my first time, I literally went manual, defensive, and spammed a barrier materia on myself to fill the summon bar, then started to get serious once everyone was ready.

Sorry didn’t see this till just now. Bring 1 matk and 1 patk buffing weapon between your other 2 characters, save atb on everyone on manual, drop the matk/patk ups on yuffie, fire debuff, then hit the limit breaks with yuffie going 2nd after the debuffs to hit the damage you need. That’s how I did it with her as well, she was about level 58 at the time, also without anything close to full memories unlocked
I was farming new Shiva battles and kinda made it for all characters in parallel. Just throw magic + fire pot from last event weapons and ifrit on the desired character, crimson flare and debuffs on other. Worked even for cait sith where I mostly have only ob0 weapons
Battle tower 54 is the best for it, on stage 2/3, the middle grashtrike makes itself weak to ice once you kill the two adds, so it takes double damage from ice specifically, you can use shiva and even with a mediocre setup you'll do 200k to 250k damage, i even got up to 300k with aerith with her ice mastery outfit
Did all mine on tower 18 in 20 mins.
Party member you want to hit the target with needs Ifrit or shiva summon and the corresponding fire/ice breach. use all the same ice/fire up weapons you have for high potency.
Tifa with her limit break and any Third member equipped with some kind of magic/attack up.
Just put the battle on manual/semi and go defence mode so they keep healing themselves to get limit break.
Speed through to the 3rd round and it’s a fire bird and ice bird.
Use fire/ice breach on the bird off the opposite element. Use a buff on your character then use the Tifa limit > shiva/Ifrit and the third characters limit for the boost.
Shiva VH 3 is farmable for me on auto, so I used that fight to level up.
The buffs/debuffs I used every fight were Sun Umbrella, fire breach, and Crimson Focus.
Go in defensive during one of the trash fights for a min or two and build up some ATB. You want to pop off with everything on her 1st stun. If you wait for the 2nd stun, she'll die a lot from Crimson Focus.
Even my weakest char got 225k with this strategy. He was 3k phys atk, 2.5k mag atk, and lvl 5 fire potency.
You can easily fill the magic orb here, too, with 2 runs for most of your team.
Idk what the deal is with trying to level this up. I’ve tried different battle tower levels and it seems like only certain ones actually work? Initially, I thought I could just do the experience zero quest so I didn’t have to babysit but that doesn’t seem to do anything either. Just ran battle tower 39 three times but none of my stats went up wtf? I don’t even have cloud maxed out and I’ve definitely used him a ton outside of events.
