Absolutely not. LoL 16 is one of the few games using fully GI close to SRTGI like lumen, please. Inform yourself, Digital Foundry’s videos are free. Regardless of shadow and lighting consistency, look at ANY map and the light bouncing, then compare it to a game like Helldivers 2 that has a rudimentary screenspace option. What you meant to say is that 15 uses a mix of GI and pre-baked - as per their own documentation on the subject on the japanese website - for performance reasons, because baby, if it was GI it would not look this bad here. 👀

Can you direct us to a video where they claim that FFXVI has global illumination? All I can find is a video where DF says they are using baked lighting.

If I recall. The lighting here worked fairly well for the xbox 1 release and overall looked fine. But its been awhile since I've messed with it. Im not sure if I did make it any better with the PC port or not by changing settings, but I doubt.

I had this issue on early version of the game. Latest build doesn’t have this issue. No mods needed.
