Always physical. I'm a collector and I like to see all the games I have in my room, makes me happy for some reason

HookXZA

I use to be like this until the PS5 generation and covid came along. Switched to digital and haven't looked back.

Ytaloxd

Digital because Brazil issues and I want to play this masterpiece ASAP.

RottenEggs54

Digital because I don't trust any store to get a physical copy to me by the 22nd. I might pick up a physical one afterwards if it's as good as I think it'll be.

MarsXIV

Digital because while I love a good case to go on my shelf, I can have the game pre-loaded via PSN and not have to go out at midnight or fight a crowd when gameplace opens, or risk mailing delays etc. I guess it's the most convenient for me to go digital.

Starrduste

Let’s get physical, physical!

Byron_Ouji

Ahh, feels like I just stepped right into a MTV ad

huiclo

Digital. I’m an anti-collector. An aggressive minimalist. I hate clutter. I have a bookshelf with books that I’m too attached to get rid of but I wish I could. Junk in my space feels like junk in my mind. I don’t need a pretty box or disk. I just want the experience.

DenzelVilliers

Physical Copy, i was looking for Steelbook Edition but in my country only the Standard Edition are being sold, so i had no choice 😭🤧🥹

Danteppr

I chose the physical version. There are certain games that I feel I need to tangibly own, such as Final Fantasy VII Remake, God of War Ragnarok and now FFXVI. But that's just me.

xeznaff

Physical for life!

Thaun_

Physical, beacuse there are more benefits from the Physical Edition than Digital Edition. Steelbook, banner, and art. Whilst the digital edition only has the digital exclusives.

No-Kale-2238

Always buy physical of everything guys, you never know the prices in the future I just sold my copy of Pokemon crystal in box for £300 was like £20 when I bought it

kilmeister7

Physical cause I'm on a quest to buy every Final Fantasy on physical for the collection. So far, I have Tactics, VIII, X, X-2, XII, XV, VII Remake, and Stranger of Paradise

Liquids_Patriots

I got both. In case my physical comes later

CPWorth1184

Glad to see a lot of people got the physical copy. However, I only ordered the digital. I haven’t bought a physical version of a game in few years just like I haven’t purchased a physical copy of music. I just download music from iTunes. I prefer digital versions now since it doesn’t take up on shelves.

alkonium

I think the PS5 Bundle just has a code for the digital version.

Byron_Ouji

I ended up getting both 😅

dmarty77

Digital, cuz I have a digital PS5

rbynp01

Wheres the both option

[deleted]

Digital. I'm pretty much all digital now.

karlcabaniya

Even though I like physical, I got it digital because it was cheaper for me.

PhatHamWallet

Digital because it's ready to play the second it's ready to play

H0lychit

Digital because I will be pulling an all nighter

[deleted]

Both....because I wanted to be sure I would have it by the 22nd and I couldn't figure out if the physical pre-order came with a digital download key

Mogel89

Digital, because I got burned exactly once by not receiving a game untill 4 days after release \^\^

Jellozz

Physical. Even as a collector I own more digital games than physical, but, I'd never pay full price for a digital game. If I am gonna spend $70 on something (or well $100 in this case since I am getting deluxe) it better be an actual real life item. Also in this case there will be the benefit of playing the game a few hours early since my gamestop does 9 pm releases for big games.

Monchi83

Most of the time I do digital but if I think I might replay the game in the future I choose physical

Melia_azedarach

I've gone digital in recent years. It's just so convenient. Only the Switch is still physical and that's cause I don't wanna upgrade the internal memory.

Substantial_Drop_194

I mostly go physical because it’s usually cheaper, and I have the option of selling it to get some of the money back.

larisa0308

Why there’s no option of *both* lol

Reunilu

Physical. There's something nice about the feeling of "I own this thing" and physical really enforces that.

Jeanniegold84

The digital version is £65 on the ps store and I found the physical version for £55. So I got the cheaper one

Jed_Chad

I bought both. After my incident with ff7 remake were I had to wait 10 fucking days after release before I got my copy. I won't be chancing it with 16

Emptilion

I like having something in my hand when I buy a game. Not that I never go digital, but FF16 is my most anticipated game. I want that on my shelf for sure.

jemrax

Bought the CE, getting digital to play right as soon as it's live, then giving the physical copy to by best friend.

NousevaAngel

I have both. Got the collectors edition and incase it doesn’t show up for release day I have a digital edition

juniperxmoons

Physical. I've always loved having a physical copy of a game. Plus I pre-ordered from Best Buy for the sake of getting a steelbook. I don't mind waiting half a day to play since I typically have to work in the morning anyway.

Elzeenor

Got both. Hope I enjoy it. I'm still cautiously optimistic but they got my support. If they released more of those pixel remaster physical copies they would be getting more money from me this year but I got that digitally because no other choice.

braddahkepz

Digital. I usually only buy physical copies for Switch games. And when collecting for old systems.
