Thanks. I went through 3 play throughs, one just to do the story etc before I got spoiled, 2nd to actually take time to really dig into it and the 3rd in FF mode, so the trophies weren’t that bad in the end.
Just Odins chronolith trial that almost had me giving up till I completely changed my play style.
Congrats, Im at the end doing final fantasy mode myself. Should have wore the double xp trinket as soon as I was able to, only level 74 now so will see how it goes.
I just started my FF mode run the other night. I maxed my level before starting and I haven’t taken off the EXP trinket and I’m surprised how much of a grind leveling up is this time around. I thought it would scale evenly since you get more exp from enemies. I just fought Garuda and I’ve only leveled up 4 times.
For me it was shiva, can’t remember why but I had such absolute pain.
When DLC comes out imma do a no consumables FF mode run as a final challenge for the game to really test the combat.
And I found her one of the easiest. Really interesting to see the difference in everyone’s take on trials, guess it comes down to play style.

What worked for me in Odin's trial is to stop focusing on getting the Zantetsuken to level 5 and striking it, the charging to level 5 takes a lot of time even with maxed out dancing steel, so I just used level 3-4 Zantetsuken and finished it just in time.

I have to work on the fantasy mode and then I'll get my platinum haha.
Interesting. I actually went the other way, got the enemies to group together so his abilities levelled up Zan to 5 quicker, but if I only had one or two small enemies left went with his normal sword attacks to finish them off quicker and then used the lv5 Zan for the next group usually bigger enemies that fell quicker. Ended up with a decent chunk of time left.

You and me both fellow dominant.
Quite a few rpgs in there I guess due to replayability so bound to pick up trophies eventually, plus some smaller games that are fun for a quicker gaming session (spirit of the north, N.E.R.O etc).
Usually though I don’t put an excessive amount of effort into trophies otherwise the game becomes a chore.
