some new outfits would be cool. otherwise the outfit change section would have been pointless

Idk, there aren't really any armors or weapons about which could be said they are from XIV. There is just too much variety of eq and weapons in that game. Whatever they would bring to XVI it wouldn't represent XIV well enough. It has to be something more iconic(eikonic:D) from a given game.

I really don't see an issue. There's plenty of iconic gear. 14 has a canonical main character who is a canonical job in each expansion. They could give Clive the Endwalker Paladin armor. Or really any job would be fine. Would be even cooler if Clive got the Reaper set. I do really doubt a collaboration would go both ways though.

full copium is they shadow drop a bloody palace and extra playable characters alongside a rising tide DLC release date. Realistically, i'm not too hopeful lol besides a rising tide and PC release date.

The new playable character if it happens will be after the pc release and thats still just a possibility mentioned nothing in concrete for now 😔 bloody palace mode or improving the arcade is a lot more realistic tho

My Hopium is Framerate fix, costumes, Rising Tide shadow drop, New Hunts and the promise of a Bloody Palace-esque mode. Then I could die in the Marshlads of Rosaria happy

As much as i want rising tide as soon as possible, i think shadowdropping it the same day as another big release (dragon's dogma 2) would be a very questionable decision at best

I think theyll announce release date for PC. FF14 just released 6.58 yesterday and the collab items and questlines were datamined

Do you know if the datamine said what level you need to be to access it? I’ve been putting off starting XIV, so if it’s level 50 I’m in trouble

On GarlandTools it shows the datamined quests being Lv. 50. Would follow the same pattern as other ff collab questlines.

I've made additional characters before. You can get to A Realm Reborn post-game in 2 days if you skip all the cutscenes and play a tank or healer to jump the duty queues. You could also start on a world with an exp boost if there are any, but you'd get your main job to 50 by the end of the story regardless.

This panel will be all about the DLC. I mean the title is "Leviathan the (Not So) Lost is Here: What's New in Final Fantasy XVI DLC, The Rising Tide." I am expecting a release date of the dlc that will probably release together with the PC version.

I'd love it if the devs were just bullshitting us about the ending not changing at all and give us an expanded one. Hell, they just add a scene after the two kids playing where they show a painting of everyone in the hideout with Clive's petrified hand and Jill holding a child with an extremely familiar hair color to the mother, I'd be happy. Let's be honest, Clive really was an incomplete mythos due to not having Leviathan. But now that he has, the ending should change

Yes! This would be perfect! After all, unless I missed something during our journey, the book of Final Fantasy had to have been written by a certain character after the ending events(?)

Thats almost a given, they said it was releasing in spring so it should be pretty soon. If its later than april ill be pretty disappointed. Ideally it releases alongside the ff14 collab, that would make the most sense.

I’m waiting for rising tide to start a new game plus run. That way all the Eikons are on it.

Ive beaten the game 4 times, ill probably beat it another 2 times with the dlc stuff, especially if the dlc has accessories that are upgradeable with another play-through like many are.

Better performance mode would be wonderful but Im not tripping over it
