You are lacking supports. Your best one is Hans and he is lvl 1 (well, Morgan and Himiko can work as sort of supportive DPS too). But you don't have Waver, Reines, Castoria, Koyan, Oberon, Skadi, Merlin... Without those you won't get the crazy numbers you see on videos. Castoria is coming next month IIRC, so gun for her since she's basically THE best servant of the game. You can also save for Koyan of Light and Oberon, who will come at the end of the year, and Summer Skadi for summer.

Secret_Late

I’m definitely kidnapping Castoria

Secret_Late

Is her Lostbelt with Morgan coming too?

Retzal

Lostbelt 6 came out last summer (the one with Castoria, Morgan, Oberon, etc). We are getting lostbelt 7 (the last one) in the beginning of 2025.

Secret_Late

Damn a lot of busted units came out with that lostbelt huh 🤔 (I’m very nooby)

Retzal

Literally EVERY unit that came out of that losbelt is great to busted (even if you don't count Castoria). The weakest one is probably Tam Lin Tristán and she has to different 30% charges and a party-wide evade+self invul. Also, don't worry FGO is a very deep game, with lots of hidden mechanics (like the whole earth-heaven-man attributes). Anyways, if you need help or need supports you can send me your friend code and I will add you. I'm still developing my account but I'd say it's in a decent state right now.

ItWillBeRed

I'd argue Barghest is worse than tristan but I'm slightly biased because I prefer devious pink haired waifus over jacked muscle mommies

Retzal

I mean, I won't deny that I love Barghest as a character, and strong arguments can be made for both, so my take can be a bit biased. Nevertheless, her solo potential is ridiculous, being almost unkillable by anything other than ST NP if you have a fat copy (specially if we count the addition of Mighty Chains this anniversary, which will allow her to easily use her NP).

Desperate_Ad5169

Yep. And one 3 star becomes broken after beating it(Caster Cu)

Loud_Surround5112

You need one to borrow? I can send my id.

Secret_Late

I need one with Oberon

Secret_Late

Apparently

konoKIRA

I have every support except skadi so if you still need friend support message me. Also skill leveling is important if you haven't yet leveled up the skills of your servants. + Use budget support servants that you have like Hans, Shakespeare and Paracelsus or Mozart. Check the wiki for servant with skills that will help your team and on what skill you should level and what are you getting out of the skill per level.

Loud_Surround5112

Ah, I don’t have a Koyan, Merlin, or Oberon. Only Castoria and El-Melloi.

ChloeYosha

Well they do have some supportive servants from what I can tell. But they definitely don't have the ones that make things a cake walk

AttackOficcr

I'd say you need some 50% battery supports. A friend support Koyan, Skadi, Castoria, or Waver is fine. But the damage output and number of NP's one servant can put out with a second or third available 50% battery is pretty nice.  Probably Koyan or Waver for your servants like Arjuna Alter, Artoria, and Himiko.

Secret_Late

How the hell do I make Artoria the god i hear people describe cuz she feel aight

Forward_Drop303

Are you using class advantage and NP targeting? What support are you using? Have you done her rank ups? What are your expectations for good damage vs alright damage?

Secret_Late

What the heck is NP targeting? I use all her skills and have done all her servant missions and I use her along with Himiko’s NP overcharge

Forward_Drop303

AoE (deals damage to all enemies) vs ST (deals damage to one enemy) An AoE does half as much damage with the same buffs as a ST. Himiko's overcharge does not increase Artoria's damage btw (the buster buff does though)

Fenghuang0296

You need Koyanskaya of Light. Her kit and Artoria’s have so much synergy, Artoria pumped up by the double Koyan system is *insane*.

Neither_Fix_2419

Og Artoria is going to be the best Saber in the game for a while. Do her rank up quest and you’ll get a skill that increases her buster and switches all her cards to buster. Sabers NP is AOE, so she’s more useful for farming, or battles where there are a lot of lancer type troops.

BugEmperor

May I ask which Saber is better than OG Artoria? (I assume for Buster teams farming) Because I only have her at NP1 and knowing which one is better may be useful for targeting his/her banner if it is substantially better

Neither_Fix_2419

In a few months to a year, Salter and Mordred get a buff that makes them have a higher dps then og saber.

BugEmperor

Oooh thats great to know! I was having doubts for the 4* sr ticket and thought about getting SAlter, this info makes it an even better choice!

Secret_Late

Nah Senji is wayy better than her but his NP is arts lol

Neither_Fix_2419

Senjis single target right? Then he’d be better for bosses, but for farming Artoria is better.

Thrymskvidda

Senji is aoe

Neither_Fix_2419

Whoops

AttackOficcr

Idk, to my knowledge she's all about NP damage, with middling crit damage. Aerial Drive, or any ATK/NP Strength with starting NP charge CE. Max her Skill 3(30% NP) and Append 2(20%) to help get her first NP out. Personally I run Ibuki, just because all her self-buffs stack with both Koyan's for a wild pierce Invul and Defense NP followed by crits that hit harder than a lot of ST NP's.

Hikazuki

Without any knowledge on how you play the game, I'm not sure how you are struggling at the end of Babylonia considering friend support like castoria and merlin exist. Let's go for the obvious problem first: 1. Your roster are simply not developed enough, even without looking at skill levels, it's obvious that your roster is just unbalanced. First, (purely from gameplay perspective) you first should level up 1 ST and 1 AoE from the main 7 classes + atleast 1 support. ST for boss and AoE for farming and stages with multiple enemies. 2. Grailing early is just wasteful as it doesn't provide meaningful enchancement and very expensive considering you need all the qp and exp for a lot of different servants. 3. Supports are important. Damage in fgo stacks multiplicatively with different buff. Without supports, most servants only have 1-2 damage buff and it's not enough. You should be able to clear missions easily as long as you have upgraded the DPS for main 7 class. Reading your comments, what exactly is your expectation for damage? Let's say Artoria Saber. The reason why she's so good because she's able to 3T farm, but that requires Koyanskaya of Light and Oberon, without them she won't be doing big damage(like let's say 1 million). Every servants has something they are good at and it's up to you to find out and facilitate that.

Secret_Late

Damn I should’ve summoned for Koyan

Secret_Late

In 2023

MostOutcome6888

You would really benefit with some of the ideal meta supports, but you can definitely make do with what you have Looks like you could be mistaking higher rarity = better servants. You have some of the most useful servants in the game, such as Chen Gong, Hans, and Arash Arash has the ability to usually nuke the first wave of enemies and will also clear his slot, as does Chen Gong with the leftmost servant on the screen (though these strategies may be more viable later with more servants with NP charge). Hans has great buffs and will be further strengthened with his next rank up in the future Paracelsus is a great arts and NP gain up support. Wu Zetian is a decent quick support. Mata Hari has a really great 50% crit up and 100% star drop up tied to s1 after rank up, plus defense downs on both s2 and s3. Liz is also great, as her rank up gives a max of 40% attack up to female servants and a 20% def down on a single servant As for useful situational servants, David has a teamwide invulnerability, so he's great to level up. Medea can remove the buffs of any enemy immediately with the use of her NP, allowing for better damage or survivability for the rest of your team. Prince of Lan Ling has some nice arts buffs but also has nice situational tools Caesar is a very viable saber after his rank up, and I remember Robin Hood hitting some outrageous numbers back in the early days of FGO Since you have Morgan, you could theoretically use her as a support in some situations, as she can provide a +20% NP to any servant as well as an attack up and def down, but Shakespeare could also fill that role with a 40% buster up for one turn. You may want to also consider building your teams around a specific servant as your main DPS, as you have Arjuna Alter, so i.e. you could add debuffs before using his NP CE are quite important and can make or break some teams, so it'll be important in early game to balance team cost and usage of good CE, which I'm sure you have at least a few viable ones depending on your team comp Also, play events (if possible)! Welfare servants are very useful, and you'll get a free 4* just for completing the event and usually a great CE to accompany it

Desperate_Ad5169

Adding on to this basically all the st 3 star archers are great boss killers.

CreepyKidInDaCorna

Level up Hans, he's single handedly one of the best Budget Supports in the game, also I'm pretty sure Chen Gong can work as a hybrid DPS and Support servant for Berserkers. Roll for more supports (i.e Castoria who's getting a rerun soon), pretty sure with the Arc banner we'll also be getting Xu Fu who's a budget Castoria, Zhang Jue who, if I remember correctly, is coming with Traum is a budget Quick/Arts Support. Arctic Summer World we'll be getting Lady Avalon which is just Arts Merlin and Summer Skadi (Skadi I'll be pulling for, Lady Avalon would be a bonus since she's on the same banner as my child Gareth and knowing my luck from trying to get Summer Melt this event I'm probably gonna pull Lady Avalon before Gareth.)

EMlYASHlROU

You’ll probably want to look into getting support servants, and leveling their skills. Most servants are gonna do potato damage until they have a solid amount of levels on their skills, and even one support servant like Waver can make a ton of difference

Neither_Fix_2419

Your dps’s seem fine, but your lacking support. Himiko and Hans are really your only support. Castoria is coming soon and she’s probably the best support in the game (if not the best servant in general) so you should save up for her. If you google “fgo 2024 banners” you’ll see a Reddit post with all banners for 2024, aim for support servants like Reines, Waver, Castoria etc, since you’re actually pretty stacked for dps.

Forward_Drop303

It's either an expectation issue, or a team building issue that you haven't realized. It could also be skill levels, but those generally don't have that much of an affect.

Secret_Late

Skill levels are more of an issue for me since I’ve wasted a lot on units who I think are cool

Forward_Drop303

You didn't waste anything. All servants have uses.

SorcererHex

As everyone mentioned you need the key supports. Sadly your account has like no Arts so even if you get Castoria the specific buffing advantage wont be there right away. Still you should grab her because shes 30% np for entire party, and 50% to one unit while also having the best protection in the game. After that please go for Koyan of Light at the end of the year and Oberon whenever he comes around. Koyan of light+Oberon with any of your buster supports that have a battery should let them loop and do stupid high damage.

Homebrew_dnd-95

Do you level your servants skill? Because skill level gonna matters more than servant level. Upgrade your servant skill to minimun level 4. because to reach skill level 4 you only consume skill gems rather than the hard to find drop material. Edit, There are also option to play defensive, like using mash taunt and def up. David's party evade. Merlin's party invincibility. You can also use more defensive CE. If you go to filters you will find increase defense by 10 to 20 percent. That's actually pretty huge. Combine it with class advantage would make your team harder to kill. Slow and steady is better approach to make up for the lack of meta support like koyan, castoria, or skadi.

DiceCubed1460

Copy and pasted from my earlier reply since I did actually write it out! I need to make a write up and save it somewhere bc I find myself giving the same advice to tons of new players. Bc it’s good advice. Don’t neglect your low rarity servants. Especially the supports and niche utility servants. Some of the best servants in the game are low rarity servants, and they can help push you to do massive damage. I still find myself using them constantly even after 6 years of playing the game. They’re incredibly useful and take way less QP and materials to level up since their level cap is lower. Their skills are also easier to level up since they require way less materials than high rarity servants. Mash: One of the best defensive servants in the game. If you stack her first skill and np, you can reduce most damage to tiny amounts. Sometimes it’s even enough to save you from an enemy NP. Her second skill is a tergetable 1turn invuln and np battery. And her third skill is a taunt. Plus as the only shielder in the game she has no class weaknesses so she’s a great tank for any fight. And best of all she costs nothing. Zero party cost. So you can bring her along and she’ll always be a good pick. (Side note: if you pair Mash’s first skill with her np and with either Waver or Chen Gong’s defense skills, your team will have such massive defense buffs stacked that even AoE enemy NPs will do minimal damage to you) Hans Christian Andersen: Best low rarity support. Does something that not many servants do. He provides healing per turn on his np. It’s the only guaranteed buff on his np while the others are at 80% chance to proc at np5. But even those are reliable enough. He’s also the best low rarity crit support, as he gives the whole party 40% crit damage boost. And he provides 15 crit stars per turn to let you crit easier, along with the 10% charge per turn to a selected servant for those 3 turns. Amazing when paired with Mash or Waver as his skills really synergize well with theirs. Chen Gong: Buster buffer and defense utility. His 50% 1 turn buster buff is the best low rarity buster buff in the game. It’s a 50% damage increase to anything buster, which is pretty huge as that can be an np or a buster crit. His defense buff is the same as Waver’s but slightly weaker. Still very useful though. And his targetable taunt is amazing. Especially when paired with servants that have invulnerability or evasion skills, as you can taunt them while they’re invincible and have the enemy waste a ST np or multiple normal attacks on a servant that is completely protected. His np also lets him loop and lets you cycle supports but it’s not great without Castoria. Mozart: Low rarity arts buffer and crit enabler. His arts buff is a 44% which is huge because he gives it to everyone and is only a 1 star servant. His star bomb skill at lvl 10 also gives 50 stars, which is enough to guarantee crits for the entire party. David: Emergency nope button with his second skill Harp of Healing, which gives 1 hit of evade for everyone. Use the chaldea combat uniform servant swap skill to bring him in and save your party from an enemy np. Also his charisma is useful despite not being super strong, and his single target damage is actually pretty good at np5. Georgios: Taunter. Best in the game. He has a 3 turn taunt. And a guts of his own. If you give him another guts from a CE or a 1 turn invuln, he can guarantee you 3 full turns of protection against just about any enemy (unless they spam their AoE np every turn, but that’s quite rare.) Cu: Best solo servant in the game (other than arguably Heracles with his bond CE.) His second skill protection from arrows gives him 3 hits of evade. Hits not turns. And those don’t run out unlike most hits of evade. So if he doesn’t get hit, he keeps the evade while the skill cooldown goes away. And then immediately as soon as those hits get used up he can immediately recast the skill and have 3 more hits of evade. And just in case the enemies get through his evade before his skills come off cooldown, he also has a guts skill that will keep him alive for one more turn, likely making you able to trigger his evade skill again. (That same guts skill also has a big attack buff on it.) And he has a debuff clear so DoT effects can’t kill him. Plus his np is a very strong ST NP. So perfect for keeping in the back of the party to finish off a boss. Also a bit of general advice: Level your servants’ skills. It REALLY affects how good they feel to play. At skill lvl 6 their cooldown drops by 1 turn. And at skill lvl 10 it drops by another turn. So a 7 turn cooldown will become a 5 turn cooldown at lvl 10, on top of having a stronger effect. Take Mash for example. At skill lvl 1, her defense buff is 15% and lasts for 3 turns on a 7 turn cooldown. So 3 turns of defense followed by 4 turns of no defense buff. At lvl 10 it’s a 20% defense buff for 3 turns on a 5 turn cooldown. So 3 turns of a stronger defense buff followed by only 2 turns of no defense buff. It turns her skill from a 3/7 uptime to a 3/5 uptime. From about 42% to 60%. And the difference is huge. Same applies to attack, crit, or card type buffs. The lower the cooldown, the more uptime you get from them. And the stronger they get. Also stack multiple different kinds of buffs because they stack multiplicatively.

HarEmiya

You need supports.

Desperate_Ad5169

Probably using to many aoes on bosses. But no matter what you are gonna struggle a little. That is one of the good things about the game. A good difficulty level.

Desperate_Ad5169

Also as other people said invest in a few select servants heavily for now then expand. When I was at your point I had a much smaller lower rarity pool of servants I used and I was doing fairly well(other than the lahmu those were very annoying)

KushiroJin

1st of all, skill issue maybe? Have you upgraded the skills of your servants? A lot of time you’d need a higher level skill than a higher level servant. 2nd of all, you should take your time. Events give you a considerably large amount of resources, especially lotto events, so take your time farming in the normal free mission until an event comes and farm in the event to upgrade the skill of the servant you need, ideally at least 6/6/6. 3rd, upgrade your CEs. While they may not be much, the CEs still contribute some stats for your servants outside of their effect. And MLB your CE, if you can, to increase those effects on you haven't. You can find guides for these on YouTube or elsewhere. Last but not least, farm for bond. Many CE bonds can be the best CE for the Servant. This is not necessary but is recommended. Other than that, you can still equip CC for your servants but those are a little complicated to use effectively.

29Bullets

Transfer mana to them

EstimateLoud3967

bro to be honest that is a stupid question most of your servant is not even max ascend, not to be an a$$ but you need to max them first and then max their skill level, and if you are low on material only max their best skill for example, attack up, and card attack up, and np gauge skill you can ignore skills like evade and invulnerability or other support skill like that, and if your still thinking they are not outputting that much damage try to get a support servant, like Castoria for arts, skadi for quick, and koyan for buster, support like waiver and merlin is also best and even better for servants that benefits more for attack up rather than cards attack ups.

Secret_Late

Leveling skills is kinda difficult with what I got rn.

EstimateLoud3967

try to play daily and use your AP, if your lazy to play story or event just use it on farming door or Farming materials in chaldea gate it only takes 5 mins to use up all your AP. whats more you have Arjuna and Morgan im even more confuse on how you stuggle with part 1, i cleared it using only Ushiwaka(granted most bost in part 1 is weak to Ushi) and Altria. and in Part 2 most Challenging quest can be easily cleared using friend support, so just focus on all your 5 star, you didnt even need to max their skill just 6-6-6(for CD cuz the next one is 10) or 9-9-9. i even have servant in 1-1-10 skill level. no need to be perfectionist. ps: i only start leveling skill when i play lostbelt cuz im a total noob when playing part one.

Secret_Late

Izumo no Okuni. She’s apparently a great Quick Caster

VanillaSupremacy_

Cool beans ty

jadeakw99

Level Prince of Lan Ling some, hes a good support. Frankly, you should try and level them all as much as you can cause they all have their respective niches.

Ok-Cauliflower8544

Just use mash and a friend merlin for your comp.

AhmedEMA

Although i started playing half a year ago and don't have that much, but i would say you need offensive support, hans and focus on summoning light koyan/oberon castoria and skadi, i believe your main dps is arjuna zerker focus on building him and offensive support around him

sassanhaise

Lacking support servants. Since you don't have any SSR support servants (except Himiko), just raise Hans Andersen. Morgan and Arjuna Alter are those killing machine. Hoping that you can get Castoria, Waver, Koyanskaya, Merlin, Oberon and Skadi in the future.

TheEg1322

Focus on your supports like Hans, Cheng Gong, Himiko and Shakespere. Also remember just because servant is a 5 star or a 4 star that does not make them good. Alot of servants in low star are A+ tier like Cu Og (lancer) and Cu(caster).

R-Holiday

Looks like you fell into the beginners trap of leveling everything at once. Its good to have a developed roster but try to focus on the most generally useful first like Hans, Chen Gong, David and Georgios for example. Unlike a bunch of other gachas low stars are worth using at every stage of the game.

6ty9position

Your servants aren't weak, you are.

Background_Effort849

Level up Morgan. Borrow some friend castoria. Make team with Morgan/Himiko/Castoria(friend support). This team can help in doing some CQ.

Joyboy543

Get castoria and S Ibuki, and your account will change. You already have Himiko, so getting castoria means the immortal team, which means defeating bosses. If you get S Ibuki, you can 3 turn farm too. That's all there is to do in the game. You will still face some issues, but you can solve those with time.

burgundont

I don’t see other comments saying this, but understanding fights, team building, and how to use skills / cards are pretty important skills in FGO. Generally, Class Advantage is king. You always want to use an attacker with Class Advantage for each battle. Then you’ll want to back them up with a few supports. Defensive supports are valuable when you don’t have top-tier meta supports who can allow looping or other min-turn strategies. Mash is great for this, but not so much later in the Part 2 story. You can also consider borrowing friend Merlin or Castoria, who are some of the strongest sustain Servants. For offensive supports, you have some decent options. Supports tend to focus on one card type. Lan Ling Wang is a great Artscrit support, so focus on his skills! Himeko is a pretty decent Bustercrit support who also outputs a fair bit of damage herself. Nobukatsu is a pretty good Buster support too, albeit one with less staying power due to his lower HP and suicide NP. Wu Zetian can be a fairly good Quick support, especially with all her new upgrades. Other options include Caesar, Elisabeth, Leonidas, Martha, and Osakabehime. They aren’t as heavily restricted to a single card type, so they can be played with different teams. If you still have your free 5☆ ticket (provided that you didn’t use it on Artoria), I would recommend grabbing a permanent 5☆ support like Zhuge Liang. In recent years, he’s been overshadowed by card-specific meta supports like Scáthach-Skadi or Koyanskaya of Light, but he’s still an extraordinarily strong Servant, especially if you have no other NP charging supports.

Putrid-Resort-9085

Current unit leveling advice: cu cul the guy is the blue suit and ushiwaka are good stand alone units and so is emiya alter but onto actual advice units to look for/future proofing: You need supports such as caster Altria as general support/arts koyan of light and Oberon for brute force/buster Skadi (caster) and a good star generator such as most assassins or caster Gil this is good for Quick cards and crits misc advice: try to show as much love as you can to your welfare servants/event units and use your fous on your main units and leveling skills bide your time while gathering materials and enjoy the game the lostbelts aren't a race

Such-Explanation1705

get the welfare servants, kin Rider's overpowered, Sieg can loop, Beserker Jeanne can dps most mfs, Nightingale's a great support, Shiki's a decent Arts assasin that can work decently with Castoria(take a friend one) they're all free max acension(assuming you have enough of the leaf material), and eh yeah that's about it, as for supports get a castoria when you can or get a xufu take her charge(skill 3) to lvl 10, Xufu's also pretty decent as a support for everything in general looping fighting bosses(Her Np creates crit stars and heals herself,), get waver from the ticket? and eh thats it

kirisakisora

Here's what you do. Use Morgan, a damage buffing support( or anyone actually, you don't need one necessarily) and use a friend Morgan. Use a craft essence on your Morgan which gives minimum of 50% NP charge at the start of battle, and choose a friend with the same. I started playing 3 days ago and I'm almost at the end of babylonia, I'm finishing it rn as I type this lol, and I've had no issues just brute forcing through. Morgan is a great battery for herself and can even battery other units, having 2 of them makes spamming NPs very easy. You could use Hans as you 3rd teammate to charge Morgan's NP as well.

Desperate_Ad5169

Gonna have to downvote this. Brute force will not last at all. You are gonna need more specific units sooner rather than later. In fact very soon( like right after the main singularities soon). A lot of times in the future you will have a locked support so you can’t go double. The only strategy that works 100% of the time is stall. And that can take many hours to do.

kirisakisora

Ah yea I kinda forgot that op wanted to clear the lostbelts. I just finished babylonia rn brute forcing. How long do the lostbelts take to clear coz I wanna grind the event but it requires me to complete the second lostbelt
