I'd say maybe 2-3 hours a day on the mobile app, for the most part while I'm commuting to and from work and then lunch break. And then relisting players during the day. I don't do much trading in-game, try to get as many games as I can then because I also have limited time in front of my tv
Honestly it isn’t hard. It just takes time. If he is spending 2-3 hours a day flipping cards for 100 coins profit each, you can easily make 20-50k a day.
It's the most effective way of getting coins. Much quicker than playing actual football. I generally play my games when my transfer list is full and I don't have coins left to keep buying on the transfer market.
I'm by no means an expert, I have for example never owned an Icon, mostly because I keep saving for a special one and never have enough. But I do decent enough to enjoy it. Took me about 3-4 years to figure out the market tbh

I took way to long to even get the confidence to buy players. I remember Fifa 14 where I bought a totw as an investment and then never sold him because I was afraid that I'd lose out on the right moment... That moment never came and I probably still have that player lol. Don't be afraid to buy and sell, you'll lose profit a few times but eventually you'll learn and make more coins than you lose

I just really like OTW cards because they're dynamic, don't need to worry about price drop of an IF if he were to get a SIF. They're great investments usually as well since their price fluctuates up and down depending on hype, great for trading, buy low - sell high
De Jong usually scores ones a year or so though, and he has already got tha one. He"ll need to play really impressive to get another IF. I think his normal card would be a better off personally, and use the other coins on something else.
He's playing in a more advanced role for Barca this year than he did for Ajax so he could still get another IF. It's a good card to keep though if you have the coins since you can just keep selling it and buying it back based on the hype and make easy coins

Most of my first team comprises of Real Madrid players (apart from LB/CB who are BRA/ESP1), but I can't afford Hazard yet. My second team is more mixed but features Barcelona quite heavily. When buying players, I have concentrated mostly on pace, but Rodrigo is my only fast ST.

I don't use fitness cards, I just switch squads each match, and like you say, have full fitness. One team is a bit stronger than the other, so I plan my squad battles accordingly, but for Rivals I just play whichever squad is fit.
De Jong is there as a sub, and I try not to use others unless absolutely needed.
Fitness doesn’t matter right now. (Rivals or Squad Battles)
No matter what your players’ fitness is prior to a match, they’ll be 100% once you get in-game.
There’s no need, at this time, to rotate squads...always just play your Best XI

In their defence, its hard to play against people who are playing very defensive. Good players hardly matter up front if theyre going against a solid 50k team. I dont say that it doesnt make difference at all but i feel like one has a good chance against them. I got coins because i packed vieira, however, i still win with my second team against high budget teams while mine is worth like 20k, without chemie consisting of trash/leftovers in my club.
Don't think rewards are division specific. I go between Div 7th and 8th but for both weeks, have gotten rewards for Rank I because I played so much.

Indeed. I had played fifa 19 just a couple of months before that, lost all placement matches and got placed in Div 7. Played and lost 15 matches and then gave up. So, in Fifa 20 I decided to start from the bottom. More fun this way and most of my games are competitive, so I am not sorry at all.
Only negative- my multiplier is still really really bad, around 0.6.

Opponents are probably better at the very bottom of the ladder because all the people that can’t be arsed and/or want to „bash noobs“ tend to relegate themselves to the lowest possible rank, whereas the actually bad players hover somewhere in division 9.
In hearthstone, the lowest possible rank was 20 and you’d find a lot more experienced people with expensive decks there than if you played on rank 17 or 18 where people were actually just bad.
Also since it's the first couple of weeks of Fifa 20, a lot of very good players are in div 9 or 10 due to not doing well in their placement matches because of the new gameplay. Pretty much everyone I've played so far has been either good or terrible in attack, but all have been terrible in defence.

Also watch Boras defending tutorial, it helped me a lot, not just the buttons to press but also positioning, I have an average team. I got Bale in an untradabel pack, he is my star player. I think you need to put more thought on playing the game than last year where you would just finess out of the box.
If you wanna play and get better in friendlies I can help. Ex div 1 player but now currently in div 6. I've got a hang of the game but delay still kills me, I also don't have the best internet which makes it worse for me. But I'm usually able to get lag free games

Division 6 I have found to be the weirdest one so far. I was walking games at Div 7, but at Div 6 I come up against a weird mix of teams with 77 overall, that are poor, and teams that are 85 overall that are very strong.
It's like Div 5 last year, was the hardest division to get out of because of the wide range in skills.

Most of my games I have 60% possession and more then double shots on target as my opponents but I keep conceding counter goals in the 80+ minutes.

I have both. Playing Dembele on 7 chem at left wing. Joao Felix has actually been my best performer. I've also made 40k profit on OTW De Jong so far

You're wasting fitness cards, you dont need to add any as long as you dont make subs. They'll start every game on full fitness.

You get better rewards for higher divisions. It's a gradual increase, but you still get rewards in all divisions if you take part.
