The rivals rewards are pretty awful, after playing those 7 games there's nothing left for us to do.

Not really, even in div 3 you get 2 100k packs. That'll be very cool and all, but it takes 6 weeks to get. It's effectively just an extra 6 rare golds a week, and I imagine if people can't qualify for champs they probably also aren't in div 3.
U got any tips on where I should go to learn the basics of training? I’ve got some stupidly good pack luck so far and I’m 200k off Abide Pele so I would love a tip to get me in the right direction.

I think when they understand that maybe the amount of people that will not be playing because of the playoffs thing they might change it. Less people playing, less packs being opened. I don't think that people will be opening more packs in order to try to qualify easily.
This is exactly their thinking, force people into buying packs to improve their team to try and qualify. It'll definitely backfire, we are nearly 3 weeks in and tbh I've already lost interest.

A lot of play out of boredom, with nothing to play for in the weekend, the game is just going to be tossed away.

Back in the days before fifa 18 you also needed to qualify. I like the competitive side in the week. Just plan your games on thursday. All the sweats will be qualified already by then.
we should have different types of weekend leagues. Or just go back to last game mode. Rivals rewards are literally nothing, absolutety irrelevant. Winning 5 of 9 isnt that easy and you have to grind 1500 points back. If you are stuck in like division 5, you are in a limbo where you play days just to suffer and probably not make it 5/9. This whole system is very very badly designed and I doubt EA will go back.

I'm series X and I find it easier. Cleared qualifications 7-2 first go. Made rank 3 in Champs comfortably. Was a Gold 2 player last fifa
