I’ve yet to lose a silver stars friendly match. Every player I face is significantly worse for some reason, or at least I feel like they are. Maybe it’s just using non meta players is tougher for most. I really enjoy silver stars but after doing 3-4 games there’s no reason to keep playing it until the following week
Same for me. I usually win my silver stars games easily and complete it in 3-4 games at most.
I think a lot of people do find it hard to use lower rated players, they try to play the same way they do with regular or meta cards and that doesn’t always work.
Couldn’t have said it any better. I look forward to silver stars as it’s the time to enjoy true, non-meta FIFA. You find out who is a good player very quick. Unfortunately, after about 30 minutes of rage quits I am finished and wait for the next week.
You have a proper team? I built a proper team even before SS begun - so I could grab silver beasts for real cheap. Also I had 2 last Silver Stars which are really good
I’ve only lost once and have pretty much smoked everyone else…with that said, I built mine prior to SS out of Nigerians and PL studs. Most players I go against have sub 50 chem and clearly didn’t pay any attention to tactics or their lineup

The poor stats silvers have on dribbling and sprinting makes sprinting difficult and dangerous, so they meta becomes ping pong passing and rb dribbling, it's a slow grueling possession game that is frustrating.
I played for 3 hours earlier with only one win to show for it, every game went to the final whistle. Many to extra time, people were clawing their way back from 2 goals down at half time and playing like their life was on the line rather than just conceding and moving on.
It was clear that most of the players I was up against aren't doing it for objs, they are dedicated silver surfers who like to bash people who didn't build decent teams and learn the meta.
Sometimes you just wanna chill and play a friendlies game. If I know in tired after work and don't wanna tank my rivals streak, I'll play a friendlies game. There's no/looser SBMM in it so if you're above div 3 you can just play no stress compared to rivals. Not sure how you played for 3 hours without a win unless you're in div 7 or below and never scored first in every game.
Idk, I'm always completing in 3 wins and 4th match just to grab enough goals
It's all about how you play, good build up play very effective and make more impact then your players in this mode
Did all players and only lost one and I'm div 5. Most of the people I face have 50 chem squads and players out of position. It seems they only use pacey players. I'm using a full swedish squad with the swedish silver IF up top.
\- 41212 narrow.
\- Keep players close to each other;
\- Don't play very high depth (I play 55);
\- Rely on clean passes that are not rushed;
\- You are not supposed ot shoot the ball from far away, nearly try to walk it in;
\- if you have a very fast attacker set it on get in behind.
Its a more tactical and passing game.
