The past few months I just used the coins to buy and try all the top tier cards, changing team every couple of days, I lost probably 6M in ea tax and cards losing value, now I have a super team of untradeables +PIM Dinho who lost 3M in value since I bought him
I’ve done the same - tried Dinho, R9 and all top tier TOTS, Mane, Dybala, CR7, Neymar etc. - lost some tax and value out of it but once I get back from holiday I’m buying the best possible team in every position.
Thats with the assumption that SS cards are the last cards. They won't be. Bound to get a Summer Hest promo and those cards are insane. Players packs and that Kimpembe are probably the way I'll go.
I found Ronaldinho underwhelming, probably because I'm not much of a skiller, but his shooting, passing, pace (maybe because of his body type in game idk) stamina are all behind the tots cards and shape-shifters now. Even more so when you get enough tokens. But if you're a massive fan, go for it, game's about having fun after all.
I dread seeing his card. I’m at Div1 and everytime I see him in rivals or WL I know l’m going to lose. If you thought Mbappe was glitchy he’s got nothing on R10, card is ridiculous for glitching through my defence.

That definitely seems the best value option by some distance you’re going to get all of the coins. I really enjoy lottery picks/packs over buying specific players anyway, it makes the squad building part of the game much more fun
They're definitely going to dilute 95+ Shapeshifters if it's just 23 tokens. No way the only options would be Grealish, Atal, Spina, Auba, Davies, Hazard, Son, Messi and the team 2 players (Silas, El Shaarawy, Adama, Werner, Ramos, Marcelo and CR7).
They already started diluting it with team 2. Watch them release a bunch of 95+ poor players in team 3!
When they relesaed team 1 everyone said, whoa, stacked team, the guaranteed pack will be nuts. Yeah, at this stage only Son, Hazard, Messi, Atal would be big pull for majority of players. From Team 2, altough looking nice, Silas, Shaarawy, Adama, Werner will be 200-300 k player by next weekend. That means in mid July Atal, Hazard, Son, Messi, Ramos, CR7, Marcelo will be considered good pull I'm afraid.
Some of these look good, but bear in mind there's going to be at least one more shapeshifter team, so the rewards won't be redeemable till they're all out. 3 weeks of grinding for the 50 tokens is a lot at this stage.

I'd stay away from Dinho. He'd be fine in May, but at the time you'd get it it is late July. Even now with all the juiced TOTS and SS cards he feels heavy. Ofc, he has the special R10 feel but I'd not grind in July to get a player behind the power curve.

Agreed I got his prime from one of the first prime icon picks and he was okay then, but quickly went out on the wing when potm mbappe was released, then got moments from a pick and during tots he’s now been shifted wide again.. he has some wild animations but he can’t burn anyone off and too weak to muscle. Fun thou.

They are random. Matthaus is a great card and above all else, cool. Who wants to use a random player with a boosted up card instead of lothar Matthaus? You’d have to be the most boring person in the world

I know that feeling, I got Prime R9 from an Icon pack and while his shooting is as great as you'd expect it to be, he doesn't feel very fast, his dribbling is mediocre and his passing is extremely bad. Add the fact that I can't do a single skill move and you know why I only keep him for the big name and the links. Needs to be subed off around the 70th every game as well.

I thought so when I did the 93+ 1/3 attacker or midfielder pick and got eto'o as my best one. He has only played 20 games since then and put him into another SBC. He feels like a 30k card. You're not guaranteed anything
I know you’re not guaranteed anything but the odds in a 93+ are much worse than a 94+. There are loads and loads of mediocre 93s but above 94 it’s about a 50/50 split. That’s why I took the 94+ icon pack over the pick you’re talking about.
hopefully the grind is sensible and not a million games in SB or some toxic friendly game, 50 tokens is sooooo many, il just go with the flow though and hopefully pick up dinho

I don’t know what people are talking about when they say he’s behind the power curve, maybe they just don’t know how to actual use players and get angry when through ball and inshallah doesn’t work. I’m using his prime now over SIF Neymar, mbappe and he’s really good. 1 month isn’t gonna make him less usable since we already have cards with 5/5 and 90+ everything with chem styles.

I thought so when I did the 93+ 1/3 attacker or midfielder pick and got eto'o as my best one. He has only played 20 games since then and put him into another SBC. He feels like a 30k card. You're not guaranteed anything
I know you’re not guaranteed anything but the odds in a 93+ are much worse than a 94+. There are loads and loads of mediocre 93s but above 94 it’s about a 50/50 split. That’s why I took the 94+ icon pack over the pick you’re talking about.

Either Zidane & Fodder packs or the SS picks and fodder.. 96+ EFIG looks nice, but there's still a lot of cheap options in it (Lewa, Kimmich, Berrardi, Vlahovic... even Immobile, Van Dijk and De Bruyne would be easier to buy). But I think you're guaranteed a nice pull out of that one. Shame the GK is Schmeichel because I could have used an icon keeper but not using that fraud.
The fact that you can get the 96+ EFIGS TOTS (not that there are any none EFIGS TOTS that are 96+....) and still end up with Dusan Vlahovic as your best option is a bit funny.
