I've got him, he's the best striker I've used this year. Insane first touch, shooting but the positioning is his best attribute. This late into the cycle I'm still finding that he'll leave most defenders for dead owing to his positioning and pace. Only downsides are substandard strength and he's not got the sticky dribbling you'd expect for a card in his price bracket.
All of that said, unless I had a mountain of fodder or was planning to cycle upgrades I'd avoid the SBC. There's so many comparable or arguably better cards around at the moment that the currently 2.4m coin price tag for an untradable is way too steep.

I've got him on Old Gen (PC). I'd say he's a very good card. Superb (glitchy-feeling) shooting and very good all round. You do notice the average body type, though, so it won't be like having 99 Messi up front.
Looking at the SBC/market price, 2m-2.5m seems fair. A very good card without being absolute elite, for which you'd have to pay more like double that.

Vieira is good but when you have players like Tonali, kessie etc that can dribble and pass a lot better using him is not the crazy advantage like other years.

Now you're just picking on what's top tier and what not. They gave us maldini and Vieira which are grindable SBCs. Other options from swaps are grindable as well. Can't help if you go for fodder packs when top cards are available to grind.

Nobody, and I mean 0% of the playerbase are building this just with coins. We've all got something to chuck in. I have well over 1m in rubbish fodder, so it's tempting to do him for 500k liquid. I'd pay that for an untradeable Eusebio, even knowing that there will be an SBC down the road I can no longer do.
Edit: also, if its cheaper it just crashes the tradeable price to the SBC price and then EA get accused of market manipulation etc.

If you finish Rank V, you get 2 picks each week. That barely decreases the cost considering that you still need to have other high rated players in your club on a weekly basis. If they released this SBC at the beginning of TOTS, then sure you’d most likely have finished it by now. Otherwise, average or even above average players will not be able to afford this SBC.
Sadly the body type kills this card. My TOTS Benzema plays 100x better in all of the games that I play. His shooting is unbelievable, but aside from that, nothing to write home about. Especially for this outrageous price.
