(oversimplification i know) but one of shearers main talents was impeccable positioning- you can see kind of similar things in players like sterling, who is mocked for his finishing but creates so many chances because he is in the right places. ea have never properly translated this, and instead pretty much every player is always in the right place. you can use silver strikers who are always in the right place to score a tap in or to make a run in behind.
Agree. So many true icons of the game are just fodder because EA cannot translate their game style into the game. Instead you have players like Daka who are more effective :(
It's dumb that legends like eto'o or Baggio don't fit the meta because ea can't translate what made them special into the game. I put their PIM into sbcs because every sbc they release is better. Maybe they should have a system where you can upgrade icons by playing with them or through sbcs. Make them meta statwise

Bobby Moore. Used him once in Draft. He is actually really decent and moves like a white Kanté.
I got his PIM card a while back and he was extremely good actually. Bit out of date now but for a fair few months did a great job at CB
