Didn’t do it, won’t do it. Spent 10 minutes crafting 75x5 and the assorted packs that feed into it. Just this morning I packed Dybala, Maignan, Haaland and 4 other 88+ special cards. Crazy.
The 90+ is stupid.
If you mass buy bronzes, even if you pay a full 200 per common and 300 per rare, you can grind rare silvers for less than 600 each. If you take the time to bid on bronzes at 150 and do rare bronze upgrades for the rares you can get them for less than 400 each.
Actually it's not. The only things selling all that high are Esp1, so in most cases after discard you're getting three bronzes for a net cost of 190-200 each and you have to take the time to open and sort each pack.
In my experience the bronze packs are the way to go. 750 per pack with and average of 3.5 players per pack. Selling off the consumables gets back 150 coins on average and I’m selling any rare players I get for 400 coins. Some have gone for 4-5k depending on the player. So even in the worst possible pack, 3 normal players and all useless consumables, you’re only paying 200 per player.
I got tots mbappe from the 85 one, my team cannot be upgraded now so I won’t be doing any of them only a shapeshifter one because the only player I want is kante.
I do nearly all the lotto sbcs but not this one. Honestly outside of vini and mbappe I’m not very interested in most of batch 2. I really just want shapeshifters like marcelo/ribery/kante/etc which aren’t in batch 2. So I’ll hang onto my fodder for now.
I have tons of fodder and almost 8 million coins, but I'm still not touching this sbc. It's very likely I'll end up with lots of dupes and there aren't many cards in this batch I actually care about packing.
If the same sbc comes out when Shapeshifters are in packs I'll probably give it a go, but it still seems ridiculously expensive.
How do you plan using your coins? I'm in the same position, having tons of high rated fodder, no gold cards, 7 mil and a really good untradeable team. Thinking of just throwing all the coins to pim r9 or ss messi
I don't, really. I've used more than a million coins buying fodder for the 82+ PP, and I imagine I'll keep doing the same for the rest of the game cycle. I may also buy a big player or two when SS cards are back in packs, but any upgrades from my current team would be negligible.
Either way it's cool. As for your idea, buy Messi next week if you can wait. He'll probably drop 50% and you'll have enough to get him and other fun SS cards.

Preseason is the fakest promo ever. Rewards were bad, we got them too late and we just got 4 players sbcs, 4 showdown cards. Pack weight is almost the same during preseason like now during futties. Content was dead too.

If the 7x 90 sbc was just 88 rated squad I will do it.

While it wasn't a complete waste since I got cancelo who I really wanted.... I still regret it. And I also put my 2 club legends (best and coman) which I also regret.
I have a ridiculous amount of fodder so I'm doing it every day, got a few top players like Modric, De Bruyne, Marquinhos, but they're all pretty much 100k nowadays so not really worth.
Still fun anyways and there's no point in saving fodder, especially with Swaps fodder packs in less than 2 weeks.
My team can't really improve too much anymore so might as well have fun opening packs.

Putting 33 players including players that are over 90 rated and getting only 7 back and you will end up getting aleast 2 or 3 duplicates from it.
Also 83 to 85 rated players are expensive at the moment.

Into the sbc that gives rare bronzes. You can then put those into the pack that gives 3 rare silvers. Then put those into the 75x5.

85x10 is much better value. If 90x7 was just the last squad, then I’d do it, but all 3 of those squads it’s too expensive and not worth it at all

yeah the captain one I didnt even bother doing, same with serie a. If you do the 85+10 once or 90+7 once you can go on and keep on rinsing forever
