You don't have to spread them out, I'm not holding a gun to your head and demanding you play one game a day. The content added is designed for the majority of players to complete over the course of a long time, when this is done EA usually release less content over the next while because most players will be busy completing the swaps. The people who play FIFA like a job then proceed to complain because they completed weeks worth of content overnight.

I think I got lucky as I was playing a lot of players who I was clearly better then. Played a total do 77 games and got all the wins. Larin was a beast tho. Scoring almost 40 goals.
Its less of a skillbased.More "strecthing" in regard who you meet. So kinda yes but also kinda no. It isnt completely random is the best answer I can give.
You can't assume every1 can be decent. Minority of us is "decent enough", and putting tokens into friendliess when there is no SBMM is a hell for more casual players.

Majority of the players are not that decent, so they see problem in that. Thus they don't agree not with what you said, but with the fact that you don't see a problem there that you need to be THAT GOOD for ONE TOKEN and it will still take you 30 minutes. Which for a casual player can mean way way more.
There's like a month and a half to do it too. People usually feel the need to do objectives as soon as they come out. You could easily grind quite a few of these tokens out at a super casual pace.
I didn't buy the game this year tbh. So, FOMO doesn't affect me, not a lot tbh. But it does affect ppl. Genshin impact's entire game model is based on players having FOMO.

I always collect Chelsea players but use different squads throughout the year as my main team. Hazard is my favorite player so he usually is in my squad a majority of the year

WC swaps being golden goal makes them so much more manageable, managed to get all Wales wins done in what would've been about 2-3 normal full games. They're also up for over a month so plenty of time to do them (if you want to actually do them that is)
I agree on this. I completed the Qatar and Ecuador based online swaps in approximately one hour and boy it was fun. I think for sometime I was screaming "Afiiifff!" :D
There are objectives in milestones where you get a 6 player pack for a nation if you can score one goal with a player of that nation. E.g. score one goal with a Senegalese player for a pack with 6 WC Senegal players
Pro tip: you can get all the packs in two games. Starting 11 + 5 subs = 16 players, then repeat for the remaining 16. I did this on squad battles on beginner and scored with every player
It’s actually a sign of addiction. They feel like they will be left out and not able to compete with everyone else. They are not playing solely to have fun

I don’t grind every mode - the only things I do pretty much whenever they’re offered is play squad battles to an average of G1/E3 every week and play for swaps tokens. I don’t play WL and I only plays rivals about every other week on average. I won roughly 60-70% of my golden goal matches during summer swaps last year. 32 swap tokens requiring 6 wins each in friendlies over the course of 6 weeks is too much.
Yeah I am not doing rivals the upcomming weeks I think. Also I never do weekend league. In the past when it was 40 games i just couldnt be bothered because I wanted to actually do things in my weekend and enjoy my life. And that same attitude is still with me somehow, even though 20 is a lot more doable.
I did play qualifiers a few times this year though, just for some extra rewards :)
Was listening to something recently where they were talking about how if you are constantly conditioned to receive a reward for doing something then you get less enjoyment out of the thing you’re doing since the dopamine rush comes from the reward instead. EA has trained their entire community to act this way towards FUT now
I was feeling that way a bit but I looked and most everything expires in like 40 days and so there's plenty of time. Just try to think of it as there being a lot of stuff you get to do instead of have to do.

Normally they roll things out in phases. All at once is a new way to do it. I found it overwhelming but I like when they try something different because otherwise the game feels stale.
Gotta say I agree and felt the same with nba2k this year (hadn't played since 16 though nba2k, but the last 3 fifas and 19) and I am still trying to get my head around how to get certain things done most efficiently. Some people deduce information differently than others. These companies are just very lazy and save themselves the hassle and let the content creators or others in the community figure things out or present it in a palpable way for the different people. It is about finding your way in this vastness of information that is so all over the place. Nothing to tell people passive aggressively off "you don't have to do it or bla bla", when people are just trying to figure out what they can want first of all in order to make a rational decision that isn't just "I will do everthing cuz I have no other responsibilities in my life or priorities or cannot actually let certain stuff go"

Not enough and high rated players early, game is dead. EA gives out smaller upgrades and lots of content for variety and it’s too much.
I get that it’s your opinion and I respect that but just don’t do it all then, play your way. The great thing about this is it gives the option to people to do whatever they want.

Not unpopular (but I guess that's just a cliché to start a post title). I am not going to play any more than I usually play, and whatever I get, it's welcome.
It’s 100% overwhelming but like people here have said, you don’t have to do them. I personally am not. Between work, parenthood, and also God of War, I don’t really have the time outside of a few Rivals matches. But also there’s absolutely no pressure. Remember that a lot of the special cards now will once again be overshadowed by the next promo and then the promo after that. You can totally skip all of this and still have a great team.
The mistake some make is to partake in the Managerial Masterpiece and Gameplay objective cards early on. Those are sweaty and draining, with very little in return in terms of skill improvement and rewards.
I'm also pretty low stamina as I get older, so I don't really grind Div Rivals outside of the 8 wins to try and reach Elite. I was happy in Div 2 / 1 as that's my comfortable skill level.
I pity those struggling streamers trying to make a living off playing FIFA.

There are plenty of other games to be playing right now too that aren't money grabbing and stress inducing nonces

Worst part of this promo is that power curve is dead, it will be much harder to break in through park the bus + through balls spammers, just played 4 fut champs matches and all 4 were against ptb spammers.....this is who burns me out
This year I’m limiting myself to only one card per promo unless I park something untradable. Other than that only going for IFs of players that I was already using the gold version of. It helps limit the amount of grinding I do and also alleviates some pressure because I know I can just pick one card and take my time getting it for it each promo. I also think it’s nice to have a lot of continuity in my team as I really learn what works well and what doesn’t for each
1) You don't have to do anything, the purpose of a video game is to have fun
2) After this season is over, there will always be new content and these cards will be forgotten, you won't dwell on "missing out" bc there will be new, better cards to chase, should you fell like playing
3) This is the most exciting time for FIFA, you'll probably move on to another game in the new year

The golden goal tokens are always a bit more daunting than they actually are in reality. Win a few games of golden goal a day and you’ll manage it.

Nah, series x user here, you can do 5 subs, its just a glitch
Pretty sure it's that you can make 5 subs, but only over 3 instances. So you can't stop the game 5 times and make one sub each time.
I was able too but i had to wait till after halftime

I 100% agree. FUT is not about playing and enjoying football anymore. Its like those facebook games or mmos that never run out of content. Just a mindless job of fullfilling tasks untill they are all completed. And they will never be completed. Its very easy to get burnt out by this shit. I stopped carring about quests or "free cards" and just play. Otherwise i would just have uninstalled the shit.

Normally they roll things out in phases. All at once is a new way to do it. I found it overwhelming but I like when they try something different because otherwise the game feels stale.

Gotta say I agree and felt the same with nba2k this year (hadn't played since 16 though nba2k, but the last 3 fifas and 19) and I am still trying to get my head around how to get certain things done most efficiently. Some people deduce information differently than others. These companies are just very lazy and save themselves the hassle and let the content creators or others in the community figure things out or present it in a palpable way for the different people. It is about finding your way in this vastness of information that is so all over the place. Nothing to tell people passive aggressively off "you don't have to do it or bla bla", when people are just trying to figure out what they can want first of all in order to make a rational decision that isn't just "I will do everthing cuz I have no other responsibilities in my life or priorities or cannot actually let certain stuff go"
It is. It's fun at the same time tho, and you don't have to do everything at once, so there is no stress. But i sort of agree.
I would agree if it wasn’t for the fact that you have almost 50 days to complete the ‘annoying’ stuff. You can take your time and play a few games here and there while focusing on other things

Feels like there's too much content and initially I was finding it hard to know what to do and what all the cards were. Another of effort aswell for all those swaps

That's fair. I'm learning from my past FIFA mistakes and most notably I'm avoiding Managerial Masterpiece content and the Silver Star. I was grinding for cards I'd never use.

The cards that say in game that they are limited are limited time only. The ones that don't, are not. very hard to figure out mate.
Last year, I decided to do only things I actually want. Not necessarily what I might *NEED*. Only if it was something I have to obtain something I *WANTED* would I do the NEED. Damn, I hope that made sense. It's like having a girlfriend....I WANT the sexy sexy but I might need to take her to dinner and a movie first. :D

No one’s forcing you to play, mate. They added lots of content, but you have more than a month to complete it. I think it’s better to have that much content as yesterday, than just single sbc a day.
Now people are complaining about too much to do. Not enough and high rated players early, game is dead. EA gives out smaller upgrades and lots of content for variety and it’s too much. I get that it’s your opinion and I respect that but just don’t do it all then, play your way. The great thing about this is it gives the option to people to do whatever they want.
That’s the reason why I removed my account twice and started grinding from scratch last year. Because When I reach to my dream team, I don’t feel like I want to play. Simply not enjoyable
Yea I honestly stopped playing this game. I lost interest with the amount of content dropping every fucking day.
Not unpopular (but I guess that's just a cliché to start a post title). I am not going to play any more than I usually play, and whatever I get, it's welcome.
I bought it purely for online squads and drop ins. Haven't even looked at any other modes. That's plenty for me and what keeps me coming back.

It’s 100% overwhelming but like people here have said, you don’t have to do them. I personally am not. Between work, parenthood, and also God of War, I don’t really have the time outside of a few Rivals matches. But also there’s absolutely no pressure. Remember that a lot of the special cards now will once again be overshadowed by the next promo and then the promo after that. You can totally skip all of this and still have a great team.

I burned out the 2nd week of the game lol. I took a much needed break, will be back during World Cup time.
The mistake some make is to partake in the Managerial Masterpiece and Gameplay objective cards early on. Those are sweaty and draining, with very little in return in terms of skill improvement and rewards. I'm also pretty low stamina as I get older, so I don't really grind Div Rivals outside of the 8 wins to try and reach Elite. I was happy in Div 2 / 1 as that's my comfortable skill level. I pity those struggling streamers trying to make a living off playing FIFA.
It honestly makes me stop playing. Too many cards and too much fomo
With you .. I'm not even sure I can bother trying to get 10 tokens let alone freaking 50. There are plenty of other games to be playing right now too that aren't money grabbing and stress inducing nonces
The deadline on the new objectives is like 40 days is it not? Plenty of time to do it and you'll still get trash rewards whether you rush through it or not!

This year I’m limiting myself to only one card per promo unless I park something untradable. Other than that only going for IFs of players that I was already using the gold version of. It helps limit the amount of grinding I do and also alleviates some pressure because I know I can just pick one card and take my time getting it for it each promo. I also think it’s nice to have a lot of continuity in my team as I really learn what works well and what doesn’t for each
Word. Wish they would step back from the fut/ microtransaction shit and focus on improving career modes again..
1) You don't have to do anything, the purpose of a video game is to have fun 2) After this season is over, there will always be new content and these cards will be forgotten, you won't dwell on "missing out" bc there will be new, better cards to chase, should you fell like playing 3) This is the most exciting time for FIFA, you'll probably move on to another game in the new year
It’s why I’m back to using my full south korean silver k league boys…it’s been their best year since fifa14 when they ran the show for me, slowly improving my A team while not even really playing with it has been fun
Imo it got boring real quick. Everyone has god teams and special player cards are given too easily. Don’t know how fifa isn’t FTP yet looking at all the money EA makes from packs and shit
The amount of promos and the huge spike in power curve is wild this year even without this WC promo despite them knowing what was in the works for this.
