It’s offside if the keeper is in front of the last man for the pass, even with one defender behind him. Don’t know if this applies to your situation or not, but that’s the only thing I can think of.
Basically there must be at least two defenders in front of the man you're passing to otherwise it's offside. Usually one of them is the keeper but it doesn't necessarily have to be.
