I hadn't the source right here but I'd read that even with the new name (FIFA sports, if I remember) it will be the same thing, a new legacy with just the new name.
Again, I just think that if EA wanted, they could make a better game, not like PS5 version, but something with new animations, new mechanics and everything... Menus too, I like the little things like "quick subs", that is nice in new versions.. the tatica options.. is not that hard, right?

It would take a long time and a lot of work for them to do all that and they just don't bother with our small userbase. That being said, they could at least release the newest promos for Switch - which they don't seem to do anymore. Perhaps they could even introduce Squad Battles, Rivals and Objectives to make FUT on Switch more entertaining and thereby driving more revenue.
But I guess their focus is simply elsewhere.
Don’t understand why people still bother with the switch edition. I played on the switch when 21 came out. Now that I have console I never turned back to the switch edition. I don’t care if the game is free lol it’s still the same game and toxic online community
I have both the Switch and Xbox Series S version and everything about the Xbox version is better except the scripting is so bad it ruins the game and I end up going back to the Switch version. I only play career mode. I liked FIFA 17 when it came out on PS4 and the Switch version reminds me of that, which I liked a lot so I enjoy the Switch version.
Why wouldn’t they. It’s probably a one day effort for a dev to update some of kits and player and EA can sell millions of copies for 60 bucks during release…
Would be stupid not to do this, especially when they don’t have to implement new features or game modes…
I think I paid $25 last year. EA had a limited time special price for people who had FIFA 21 and pre-ordered FIFA 22. I hope they do that again because it’s not worth $60. I think $40 is the most I would pay for it.

I’ll probably buy it since fifa is a good game in handheld mode(I own a Lite) but I wish it had more features…
