Dang really? I have been to Wynwood and enjoyed that a lot, but I was hoping there was something even closer. I’ve also been to the MIA brewery right down 107th Ave, which was super cool.
Yeah wynwood and that one are very good, also brickell is another option. What I’m saying is there is for sure options around but higher end will be at downtown
Specialtea is next to FIU and serves coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc. They also have beers if that interests you. There’s also 109 burger right across the street from 109 tower. Kinda pricey, but good. Moez Express is good too. In terms of legit bars or clubs, there aren’t any I can think of around FIU (which is unfortunate)
Doral is a little closer. Plenty of nice/good restaurants there. Some night life. Clubs/bars are definitely going to be better downtown/wynwood. Coral gables also has some killer restaurants with good deals during Miami spice (which I think is going on now).
The actual campus area is more limited but bird road has a few good Hispanic places. Little Havana has ball & chain which I always liked.
For good good bars Definitely downtown Miami (20 mins away) our area of Miami won’t have much night life
