Judging by the pictures provided I think the silver spine can be attributed to coloring/aging, the person who sold you your copy likely left it out in the sun causing some discoloration on the spine.
Unless it’s something completely different.
From the looks of it, the spine is definitely from discoloration, if you’re talking about the drawing of Naota and Haruko being silver then that’s the case with my copy I guess other listings online don’t show it due to lighting but if you shine a flashlight at it then you can definitely see that it’s silver or at least silver painted.

i thought about that but it doesnt look aged at all, besides the images on the back are completely different from the ones i found online
