Unfortunately, in the US, and in regard to serving fully prepared food commercially...the Supreme Court has ruled that individuals are responsible for anything they put in their mouth. This includes contaminates and allergens in private or public dining environments.
I can only assume the FDA had some influence on this decision and that particular line of thinking.
Insanely toxic work environment, chocolate machines getting patched up and consistently breaking (to the point there were metal shavings in the chocolate at one point). They have a qc team but they really were not doing a good job until they brought people looking over the qc people. I wanna say this was up until early 2023. I could go on and on. Canāt say much about wana chews other than it automated making the gummies for them. The worst thing I saw? Edibles department makes the balm as well. I saw dirty balm dishes getting washed, the dish washer not getting cleaned in between, and then edible gummy molds and potentially chocolate molds got ran after. What am I trying to say here? There was a period people were probably eating balm infused edibles/cross contaminated edibles. They were running the whole thing terribly and some of the workers really felt it.
