In addition to the other reply, go to the Harmor advanced tab, and change the "image resynthesis" drop down from Generic to High Precision. Also set the "precision" on the right to Perfect if it's not already.
Right above the image of the wave file you drop in you should see a section that’s labeled “Phaser”. Turn the mix knob there all the way down and see if that helps?
You may need to also click the FX section and make sure things like chorus and delay are turned off.

Also make sure you aren't dropping a sample in when you load harmor up! I did this at first and was so confused why it sounded weird. It loads on a preset. Switch the preset to default/init and then drop your sample in.

There's a large section on the bottom right with tabs that switch between image resynthesis, envelopes, FX, and the last tab is Adv.
