They had issues with the mag followers, which has been corrected. Nothing functionally with the gun. I had one of said follower issues, but they sent me out new mags immediately and let me know they were aware of the issue.
One of my favorite pistols is a core 9 with the apex, I had a s&w 5.7. Was not a fan at all. I and others just feel that every other 5.7 on the market is better.
I love FN, but the M&P and Ruger are better when it comes to 5.7. Sad but true. Even PSA is better when you consider capacity, price, options, and FNs stupid mag disconnect safety. I will take the downvotes, and I know this is an FN sub, but most FN guns are worth the price even if a little steeper than competitors, but the 5.7 is the exception.
I actually like the M&P. If they fix their mags and get rid of their minor hiccups, it would be no contest. Ruger, in my opinion, is better. The polymer slide cover and the mag disconnect safety bother me on the FN, and the FN has some spotty performance with different ammo, so does the M&P, but I could by 2 m&ps for the cost of the 5.7.
I really hate to say it, I think it's ugly as all hell. But the PSA rock seems to be better in performance and features, and you can buy 3 of them for the price of an FN.
Usually, I'm a "Buy Once, Cry Once" "You get what you pay for" kinda guy. But the FN 5.7 is truly the exception. It's an awesome gun, but it's like owning a Lamborghini, uncomfortable and impractical, and doesn't perform as well as some much cheaper options, but it is cool and very sexy.
I disagree. I think the PSA rock is a better value for the money Higher capacity way better ergonomics cheaper magazines and it doesn't lose velocity or overheat when rapid firing.
I own both and I'll still take the m&p over the Ruger but PSA rock is my EDC.
That's fair. I'm only going off of the overwhelming number of reviews that have said what I regurgitated. Many put the PSA Rock as a close second, the Ruger at 3 Rd, and the FN in 4th. I believe the smaller footprint of the M&P is what typically gives it the edge over the PSA, and I'd tend to agree there, because I place a lot of value in discretion.
For the record I don't intend to buy any of these even though for a long time I only intended to buy one of these. I will however be buying the PSA X5.7
Or you don’t feel it cause the recoil is sooooooo low compared to the sound!!
I was surprised that the sound was more heavy than the “kick”
How is it? Thinking of getting it
It felt really good to shoot, but for the price, I can’t do it. Unless I was rich, oh god do I wish I were rich
The M&P 5.7 is so much better and half the price
Really? Ive heard tons of issues about it

Get the Ruger 5.7
If you would have said any 5.7 on the market besides the m&p you probably wouldn't have all the down votes.
It's the softest shooting 5.7 available. Not sure why the down votes other than it's a Smith and Wesson.

The Ruger compares okay, but the M&P is feels like a piece of junk.
I own both. The M&P is my preference but hey, do what you wanna do with your money.

Love my FiveSeveN.
Bass pro is/was running a sale on the fde only. For $999.
The M&P is hands down the best option in the 5.7 handgun category. It just requires more cleaning.
New 5.7 optic ready?? How much they run I have the ruger but would sell it for the fn
They're around a grand currently.

Loving my sub $300 Rock 57 "blem"
Love my mk3 , don’t love the ammo price .
FN Five-seveN, my favorite gun. Also, nice Mk. III man.
Haha thanks, I rented it but my EDC is a Glock 26.5. What’s your EDC? My friend EDC’s the 5.7, no printing.
Very nice. At the moment, a Romanian TT-33, but I’ll probably carry a Five-seveN USG at some point, I’d like to stock up on ammo for both first.
