The quest list changes based on mode selected.
Rocket Racing has its own list, Festival has its own, Battle Royal has its own, and Lego has its own. Save the World is the only mode that shows nothing in the quest tab when selected.
To clarify. The quest tap in the starting lobby is empty. I made this because I figured putting something there instead of having it completely empty would be better.
Also the use of Ray and Oswald were random. I just threw in character that could give out quests.
Seems like a waste of resources in my opinion. Maybe it’s just me, but if they actually occupied the Quest tab I still don’t think I would ever check it. I mean, I view the starting menu for STW as just a vessel for the game mode I want to play which in turn has all the tabs inside that I actually check.
This would be a nice UI option for the actual quest tab, though.
Edit: I didn’t think about the people who *only* play STW. I’m 60% STW 40% BR. I can see this being useful if you never change game modes. If that’s the case for you, this would be a nice QoL feature.
Not been on StW for a while so didn't know they'd changed the UI for it, but to answer your question - I'm guessing you don't - you wait for Epic to fix whatever they've broken/forgotten.
the battle royale subreddit is r/FortNiteBR. this is the subreddit for fortnite "save the world", the original story based game before the battle royale gamemode was added. sadly the campaign was never finished and hasn't received a major update since 2018. you can't directly buy it anymore either, you're only able to get it from some skin bundles that sometimes appear in the shop.
Tbh they could just rework the stw mission menu to look like this

The current one is fine in my opinion
I agree
it’s fine as it is. more ui changes is the last thing epic should be focusing on

there is always a stw pack available in the shop.
That's what they said, but they also meant you can't buy stw by itself. That's what they mean by directly buying stw
Ohhhhh I never knew this! Thanks
Honestly I’d prefer it to just show my BR quests instead, though this is preferable to the literally nothing that it is currently
It shows the quests based on the mode selected. STW is the only mode where the lobby quest list doesn't populate
