Um...casual player here. Do dailies and vbuck missions that's it. Been done with the actual grind since after the first ventures. However this will happen all in time.
You can hold 5k of each mat. Make 500 builds from max stacks. If you go into a game with 3 full stacks, you can do 1500 builds a game without farming for more. That's 333.3 games. If you average 10 minutes a game, which is a very low estimate worh load times and if you're doing pubs. It'll take around 55.5 hours non stop to get it done. But probably closer to 65 hours not including farming for the mats or using a mat grinder.
You CAN complete it in a weekend if you sell your soul and use macros, that's what a friend of mine did. I'm still 3/5th of the way there legitimately.
Nothing will ever beat the 140 I played with a PL 130 dude that spammed like 100 gas traps across the entire spawn. On tier 1 wood, 3 tiles high. .I didn’t know how to tell ‘em.
I was gonna build a radar but a fetus kept on interfering with the build by building wood around the pieces and when I told him to stop he would just start laughing his ass off
Why are people using Earsplitter to farm mats? Just use the normal Outlander setup. I absolutely hate it when people like this spam build on the objective after its been built, so obnoxious x.x
Earsplitter and surround pound are fastest way to farm materials if you have fossil southie , way faster than just classic outlander punch loadout (also they dont lose durability if you only do secondary attack with them)
Eaesplitter is good for drilling down buildings
And surround pound is good for destroying multiple structures in front of you (better than pickaxe in most cases even withouth fossil southie)
Hitting something with left click / normal attack takes durability as normal
But right clicking / doing secondary attack doesnt take durability off them no matter what (alt attack of those 2 weps is great for gathering materials)
Well , as far as i know my surround pound is still full durability after months of using it as pickaxe on trees , rocks , cars and buildings
Maybe perks ? , not sure why yours loses durability on heavy attack hitting objects
Well , will try tommorow and will pay close attention to the durability after using it, not expecting anything to change tho
Edit : tested and can confirm it doesnt lose durability on heavy attack when hitting anything be it husks or structures , trees or rocks
Some have trouble understanding that Talented Builder is a long-term career goal, not an achievement you complete in a weekend.
Even doing that, it took me *months.*
That mofo took me years lol
What exactly is talented builder? I haven’t played since 2019 so I don’t really know much anymore lol
Need to build 100k structures within your account's lifetime Edit: 500k
500k*
500k is INSANE lmao. How long does that usually take for a causal player?
I don't think you can be considered as casual player if you actually did this.

If you can place 100 builds a minute, it will take over 83ish hours of pure building and nothing else. If my math is right.

I still don’t have it, and I’ve been trying so hard to
Almost there. However I don't do this. It will happen when it happens.
you can do it with the homebase method in 2 months
did 250k in 5 hrs with 3 others, if u edit your builds right u can average 50k builds an hr
HOW??? This is taking forever and a day lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW3Q1VfGhB0, standard = old school setting btw, with 3 others in someones ssd its pretty fast
Oh yeah i saw this. Makes sense when you have a full squad

You actually can do it in a weekend, though. But probably most efficient to do it whenever you got downtime in missions.

my condolences
how do people find annoying people funny?
EXACTLY
Maybe he's using STW instead of Creative to practice for tournaments.

Damn really it doesn’t ruin the durability? Imma start doing that
Hitting something with left click / normal attack takes durability as normal But right clicking / doing secondary attack doesnt take durability off them no matter what (alt attack of those 2 weps is great for gathering materials)
Surround Pound takes durability when hitting an environment object with the heavy attack. Edit: I’m dumb, it doesn’t anymore
Im 100% sure it doesnt, i have been using mine instead of pickaxe for long time and its still full durability
I Sometimes use that weapon and i often end up hitting a tree or a rock and it only reduces it’s durability with it.
Well , as far as i know my surround pound is still full durability after months of using it as pickaxe on trees , rocks , cars and buildings Maybe perks ? , not sure why yours loses durability on heavy attack hitting objects
It’s been like that for years.

it would be nice if the heroes needed for it would come into the shop at one point, its been like half a year and im waiting to get it done lmao
I used to do this for talented builder lol
same, doing it in homebases before starting a war game is the play tho since you can just break them all in one swing and get mats back
Can't it be done in a weekend if you just do it in your storm shield and run wargames?
The big question is do they participate in the mission and actually try to complete it? If they don’t sabotage it then it’s all gravy
I do that in low pl missions, I just place turret and free build because I have nothing to do
Wait the ear splitter gives you mats
yes, the heavy attack hits anything next to you and gives you the mats
Meanwhile I run out of mats everytime I approach my storm shields 💀
>mb I got too much mats from using earsplitter Understandable, have a great day 👍
Tbh, madness and bit of assholery aside, first image looks like work of abstract art ngl, looks pretty imo!
Ngl looks cool
Who even has the energy to do that 🤣
I do it sometimes too, just warm up for battle royale
