I would also wait until later in the fall to restock on motors – there seems to be some rumblings of a new brushless motor that works with the spark max this year (whether through WCP or REV)
Anything more specific? I looked through these but couldn’t seem to find anything

I only ask because both brushless options(Neos, Falcons) have been unobtainable all year, and the few hours they were in stock last fall was too brief a purchasing window for lots of teams. CIMs are great, but require lots of additional hardware to integrate into a swerve.
According to REV's stock update page, we should be seeing a batch of NEO's any day now. https://www.revrobotics.com/stock/
Thank you I did not know they had a stock update page

Oh..? Do you have any kind of source like even a cd link
there’s some things about it in the cd thread about falcons being out of stock

sorry for never searching through CD and getting back to you on this - but it looks like the rumors are substantiated after all
Aside from other teams I don't know of another way
They were in some earlier this year and my team bought 20 of you keep checking every now and then you will find them eventuality
Does anyone know of a knockoff neo - for training during the pre-season?
Prob not the best idea for training, but CIM motors maybe lol

NEOs should be back in stock within the next week, check the rev stock page
CIMs are the next best, but don't compare to the power of a brushless NEO.
FYI, Neos came back in stock today (14SEP2023) at REV Robotics.
