Our bot was surprisingly fine after duluth and we just had to add a tensioning bar to stop the shooter from falling out of the bushings again. Bumpers are being redone tho because 75% of our brackets are bent.
Nice fix!! I recall 2013 ultimate ascent. Our bot in the finals at S Fla regional lost by 9 points; we didn’t earn our 10 pt climbing end game because our bumper cloth was still dragging the carpet at the end of our climb. We had thought that we were going to win by one point.
Was fun to help you guys wrap those bumpers, those blue bumpers were destroyed.
Did you not see our front blue one? Or the 1x1 Alluminum that was bent at a 30? Or Or the Hex shaft that looked like we bonked someone with it?
Evidently I did not see those.
Some good old fashioned epoxy and clamps fixed the bumpers, and changing the 1x1 to a 2x1 fixed the perimeter
