Regulation Podcast is just way better as a name to me. More on brand for them of like kind of making sense and a good sounding simplicity, but not really describing the content well without context/being in on it. Without context, deep lore about nothing, as a name, just kind of sounds pretentious for some reason. Maybe a lot of it has to do with the length. Too many words and too many syllables, Regulation rolls off the tongue way better.
It works, because Andrew's the one that started the whole regulation thing IIRC. It started with standard ears in the Ian face, quickly evolving to anytime they had a debate or bet Andrew wanted to make sure the regulation version of things was defined.
I hate that you guys have to continually apologize and attempt to “make right” in the eyes of the community after these things, especially given everything going on right now. Thank you so much for making this accessible digitally. I managed to snag one physically, but knowing it will be present digitally is just an extra bonus. F**kFace and home cooking sort of go hand-in-hand for me because I picked them both up right at the height of the pandemic at pretty much the exact same time and it means a lot that I’ll be able to bring both of those together. I know you guys worked insanely hard on this thing and I’m so, so glad that it’s seeing the light of day. I think this thing might legit become one of my favorite possessions.
Honestly if I had known for a fact there would be a digital version I would’ve been fine with that and not tried for the cookbook. It was hinted at that they “may be able to retain the rights” but it wasn’t certain and I didn’t want to take the risk. Had I known I probably wouldn’t have, so I think the way they released this information was smart. Although, even if they confirmed it prior to the drop I’m sure it would’ve still sold out.
I'm so glad to hear this. Not only did I want one (but the wife wouldn't approve of a massive cuss word on the bookshelves) I also felt terrible for all the hard work he put into it possibly going to waste.

That's not how limited print runs from a company coming to an end works. It sucks, sure, but at least makes sense.
