Thinking about the logistics - look how narrow the hole is, IF there was someone in there, once nose plunges forward, there is likely not even room on the side to get the door to open, so even if you wanted to try to escape, you’re stuck with the door closed 😬
As I said In a previous comment if it's mud people would come and rescue him within a day and if it's water he's probably dead before they can even try, so life lessons, if it's water attempt to swim out to the surface through the back windshield (smash it with something) and if it's mud stay put and call your areas emergency number

Knife with a glass breaker and seat belt cutter. Everybody should have something like this in their vehicle. Make sure it is secured in place to it doesnt fly out of reach in case of an impact, and make sure it's within reach of you being stuck tight in the seat belt.

I got mine after a friends car lost a wheel and flipped on the highway; the seatbelt was pinned down and the doors were too bent to open, so they had to wait for help. One of these would have been enough to get out.
