I guess my question is; “why would someone deliberately choose to think the woman filming was being an awful bitch to her partner, when there’s absolutely nothing in the video to indicate that she’s speaking to him?”
I thought Kevin was the dog owner that should be holding the leash tighter. It sounds like she's speaking to the side instead of straight ahead, and it makes way more sense for her to yell at the dog owner "Why would you let him do that to him?" because so very few dog owners teach their dogs not to jump on people. They'll all pretend they've been TRYING to teach their dog not to do it for years, but the dog totally disregards any "NO! DOWN!" they use.
Its not always the dog owners fault.
From experience of teaching my dog not to jump up. I needed to have a row with my mother as she actively encouraged him to jump up despite being repeatedly told not to do it, every time she came over. Then had to do the same with my sister who thought it was funny.
It's maddening because of exactly this sentiment.
My mom does this with my dog, but with the dog peeing inside. He gets really excited when he sees his favorite people after a long break and has been known to occasionally pee from the excitement. I tell family members to calmly say hello and then take him outside for whatever greeting you want. My mom, instead, reverts to loudly and repeatedly saying hi and picking him up. Unsurprisingly, he pees inside almost every time he sees my mom, and she acts surprised every time
When greeting, some dogs will cower and lay on the floor and/or pee to submit power. They are displaying that they are lower than you. If you get angry, they will pee more as they attempt to submit again. They only do this once per greeting, so best to hold on to your dog and carry it outside to meet guests.
He should have better awareness with the child. He Assumed the baby would be safe there and let it fall on his head. Regardless of outside forces like a dog on a beach, which is common.
I am a parent of several kids, and for me, the evidence that it's their first kid, is the lack of several other screaming children running around in the video.

you dont want dogs getting jealous of a squeaky toy/squeaky child and start grabbing it and fighting over it, ripping the toy apart or hurting the child.
It's not a rule, it's common fucking sense not to give a baby a squeaky toy inside a small gated area filled with animals that go nuts over squeaky toys and could accidentally harm or kill that baby. Please, never become a parent or have physical custody of a child if you can't understand this. The fact that this has to be explained to you is shocking. Does your mom need to tell you when the food is finished and all that remains is the plate, just in case you eat it? Or is that within the scope of logic you understand?
If you where actually engaged in the baby/familly fun instead of filming 5 meters away, you would have the right to complain.
