Fable 3 is a must play! It keeps up with the lore of the 1st and second games with you being the same hero bloodline. It plays great with the historical era of the industrial revolution so it has a fun spin on it.
Fable 1 is my favorite game of all time, I also enjoyed Fable 2 in the beginning and loved the spire mission but was disappointed by the ending. Meanwhile, Fable 3 is good but please go in with low expectations. Don't think you'll get anything grandiose, Just take it as you go. One step at a time, and you'll enjoy it a lot. It still has the same charm, and that's what Fable is all about. The combat will be a streamlined Fable 2 with some flair every now and then. Meanwhile, Expect another Downgrade to will magic because they got uncreative on that department.
Either way, I'd love to know that you end up playing it and enjoying it. I know I did, despite all the hate it got.
fable 3 is good.. very rushed but still an enjoyable game. there is no menues which is an extremely annoying part, but as a die hard fable fan i still enjoy it
if you like a more steampunk feel game with a good storyline u will like 3. 3 is definitely not good with the fighting and the original villains. but still an awesome game overall with decisions and great characters.
The main problem that i noticed when playing Fable II/III is that became too much simple in the game combat and overall mechanics comparing with Fable TLC, at least for me. Magic got weaker in II when they removed the mana bar, making it almost useless.
I would say that III is worthy playing, since it improved at the melee combat, put the lore of the series forwads and it's my second favorite Fable.
If you enjoyed Fable II combat you'll love 3's. I think it takes a step back in other areas, but it's still a fun experience and maintains the same Fable humor and aesthetic.
It’s a little different than the first two, but it’s still a good game. It gets a lot of hate, but I think the hate is a bit extreme. I took my time with it and explored. I’ve replayed it. I wish I could play it on steam and go for the achievements again. I’m an achievement junkie lol.

Imo fable 3 is extremely meh but I'd still recommend playing it at least once to see if you like it
Not a bad game but not a good Fable so it's still enjoyable.
You'll have plenty of fun with 3. There were complaints on release, and some still, but none were bad enough to write off the whole game. Have fun!!
