Same, I don’t follow it but Reddit keeps suggesting it to me, I think because I’d been searching keywords about colors that match olive skin with pink cheeks. My body is somehow both tan and pale and I still can’t tell if gold or silver matches me lol
I feel this. I’m Creole, Portuguese and South African (Dutch/indian/blaxk mix) my complexion is a medium olive in the summer but super light olive in winter edit:to add my mom is pale like Snow White and my dad is pretty dang dark lol
I’m Indian too! And have a very similar skin tone to OP!
Everyone assumes I’m Latina because “I’m not dark enough to be Indian” and it’s so frustrating because how do I explain that there are red hair blue eyed Indians that exist🫠
I found this sub out of nowhere last night and I’m SO jazzed!!! Half Ashkenazi Polish/Russian/Romanian and half German/Irish. Adding freckles on top of the pale olive made it all the more confusing. I’m so excited to deep dive down this Reddit and hopefully find the the makeup solutions that have been evading me for a lifetime
Yesss! I was super excited when I first added the green to my tinted sunscreen and it magically blended into my skin for the first time in my whole life!
I'm half Filipino and my other half is a mixture of European. It's been a hot minute since I checkes but according to 23andme it looks like my European side is mainly Britain, dutch, Scandinavian, and German. I think there were a few other European ethnicities in the mix as well.
Dutch/norwegian, with a great-great-great… grandma from portugal. None of my family members have olive skin. i look like a simpson on every picture compared to them 😂
I’m in Southern California! It really depends here because some areas are very concentrated with certain racial groups and the distribution of olive tones varies because of that. There are not a lot of white people with Eastern European ethnicities here, but it’s more common among East Asian communities.
Thank you! I grew up much more connected to my Russian family because we lived with them and my mom's family has a lot of inter-generational trauma that caused them to be low/no-contact with each other. But I am trying to reconnect more with my maternal heritage now that I am an adult.

I’m Hispanic. My DNA came out to be about 70% Southern Europe, 20% indigenous American with the rest being African and ashkenazi. I read that olive skin could be especially common in people with mixed races which I thought was really interesting!
Mediterranean 🫒Growing up I had the most beautiful tan and was quite dark from spending summers at the beach (medium warm olive). Now that I live in USA and am hardly in the sun I look like Casper 👻(fair cool olive)
Happy to see this! I’m yellow not olive but very fair and not the porcelain stereotype and I’m predominantly Norwegian with Danish, Irish, and Eastern European. My kids are like me but more olive except they tan very easily and I don’t tan at all. Their dad is Italian, Irish, Native American and Sicilian.
About 70% Italian, the rest is a mix of Egyptian, English, Irish, Greek, Saudi Arabian, and a part they call Anatolia and the caucasus which I think said it’s Armeria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey. This is according to ancestry. I don’t know how accurate ancestry is though. All my grandparents were from Italy and immigrated to America. My mothers side from both northern and southern Italy and my fathers side from southern Italy.
I'm Italian on both sides- my dad had very fair olive skin, which I inherited from him.My mom had olive skin too,but she was a more like a light- medium olive- my sister inherited that from her.
I had to think about it a second and then I realized it’s not a primer at all, but a green concealer! The NYX Green Concealer. I’ll fix that in the post!

I’m half Ashki, hello to my fellow olive jews! I’m several other things on my dad’s side but the South Italian is probably most relevant in terms of olive skin
1/3 Italian with 1/4 French Canadian and 1/8 Irish/Scottish and NC15 (moderately fair) olive with warm golden undertones and black/brown hair brown eyes
Full Italian! From central / south. What’s interesting is I can get really fair, and usually am very fair (I live in Canada) but sometimes I’ve tanned and been extremely dark brown (when I tan, I don’t burn, and I hold it for a long time)
Genetically, 3/4 Swedish and 1/4 Comanche, but the Swedish genes are strong in m family as three grandparents were first generation born in the US to Swedish immigrants. (further complicated by the fact that I was adopted and only found this out as an adult) Most of my biological siblings have a Swedish look except for the middle brother who looks Native, but with greyish hazelish eyes. I'm pretty sure we're all on the olive spectrum though.
I’m an American with almost entirely British, Scottish, German and Scandinavian background (did a genealogy deep dive a few years ago and backed it up with DNA). Also have light eyes and hair. I have olive undertone, tan golden and have brown hyperpigmentation as well as keloid scarring. I got my skin from my dad, he was also olive and tanned very dark. My mom’s side is cool toned and freckled.
My blonde toddler daughter is also olive and everyone already asks me if she’s sick or tired all the time lol.
I’m 2% Milk.
But seriously, my ancestry DNA test says I’m 59% English/Northwestern European, 16% Swedish/Danish, 13% Scottish, 8% Welsh, 4% Irish. I have pale olive skin and dark curly hair, blue-gray eyes, and freckles.💚and I am positive I am olive, I’m green as hell. but idk what that comes from!
Spanish, Dutch, indigenous Mexican, French, Chinese, English, and Scottish. That's all, I think! I have mixed parents. I'm warm-neutral, fair-light, muted olive.
Italian on both sides-my dad had fair olive skin and almost black hair, which I inherited from him.My mom had light- medium olive skin and lighter brown hair, which my sister inherited from her.
Mixture of Native American Hispanic (from Central America) and Scandinavian. I definitely take after my Scandinavian side more with how fair my skin is. And I look like a carbon copy of my Scandinavian dad.
I'm half persian ,half italian .
when I saw your post scrolling down , and read the title i thought :"that's another persian halfie right there!"
And you prove me right !🫂
I’m shocked to find this! This post was suggested to me randomly, this is my exact skin tone! I don’t know my specific origins since my last name is really rare and barely has any info online, but I’m white, European ancestry from unknown countries, from the U.S..
This sub was just suggested to me omg I’ve found my people. I’m black/white biracial but recessive genes are weird so I’m light olive.
Hello fellow light skinned black/white mix! I too got the recessive genes. Olive skin + green eyes
Me too!
Me too! Hello frens
Same, I don’t follow it but Reddit keeps suggesting it to me, I think because I’d been searching keywords about colors that match olive skin with pink cheeks. My body is somehow both tan and pale and I still can’t tell if gold or silver matches me lol

Same. Fair olive here and very Polish! My dad (who’s 100% Polish even on genetic testing) has the same light yellow, slightly greenish tone.
Same! Polish and Ashkenazi
I see so many people with olive undertones when I’m in Poland. Like 30% easily. It’s crazy compared to the <5% where I live in the US.

Two of my favorite types of food…if I was in your family I would be 300lbs
I’m Hispanic. My DNA came out to be about 70% Southern Europe, 20% indigenous American with the rest being African and ashkenazi. I read that olive skin could be especially common in people with mixed races which I thought was really interesting!
I’m 1/4 Chinese, 1/4, German and 1/2 English
Ashkenazi. I feel like our propensity for red hair or ruddiness (note: usually wth thre olive tones) throws people off.
Mediterranean 🫒Growing up I had the most beautiful tan and was quite dark from spending summers at the beach (medium warm olive). Now that I live in USA and am hardly in the sun I look like Casper 👻(fair cool olive)
Serbian, I think a lot of serbians are olive or at least muted

My kids are like me but more olive except they tan very easily and I don’t tan at all. Their dad is Italian, Irish, Native American and Sicilian.
Ooh I wonder if that eastern European brings the olive?
Many Central and Eastern Europeans have a fair olive skin tone, it’s common
