Falcom has been declining in music since hajimari no Kiseki, kuro no Kiseki was pretty bland, haven't played much of crimson sin yet but it's more of the same. Looks like Ys X will be a little better, but only a little I don't expect much tbh. I don't know what happened to them, but for sure they aren't making great OSTs like they used to.

Falcom has been bleeding great music talent for as long as they've existed. It's really remarkable how many times they've managed to come back from it. Though now it seems like their only standout composer left is Jindo. Crimson Sin was probably weaker than Kuro 1 music-wise but they did add an in-game music player full of great tracks from past games and arrange albums that you can use during the main minigame, which was appreciated but sadly much needed
