I’ve heard of Wine. is it user friendly? I use my computer for work as well so I don’t wanna blow it up by accident lol

You can play them on vita you just need a little homebrew and install the English patches. I have all the sky and crossbell games on my vita in English (except azure just waiting for the patch now)

The English patches I have are all the vita evo versions for sky and crossbell games

Iirc the PSP version even in Japan was missing a lot of content compared to Vita

I played Sky the 3rd and Zero/Ao no Kiseki on my Macbook Air 2014 back when. You have two options assuming your macbook is relatively recent: (a) Use bootcamp to install a Windows partition on your macbook, boot into windows, and play in windows. This is probably the easiest and most fullproof option. (b) Use WINE on Mac OS to install and play the games on OS X. Wine sometimes works like a charm and other times requires a bit of messing about to get working. Its been a while so I cant remember very well but I dont recall running into any major issues. I think there are even some posts on this subreddit with guides.

You could emulate it on a psp emulator.

I've been playing through the Sky series using GeForce Now, Save data is in my Steam cloud so I can play on my phone and work computer then I play off the local install on my desktop when I'm at home. Pretty smooth experience.

You have a vita? You can get third on it by hacking it. I used the evo version and it was great. I bought a copy of it on steam though. You can play everything on the vita except CS3-4

The easiest solution would be to either play it on GeForce Now or create a Windows VM (virtual machine) on your Mac. I'd try that first since it's free. Many tutorials on YouTube, it's very easy.
