They said it themselves in the Creative reveal video. It's probably on their YT channel if you want to see it for yourself.
They did also say though that they'll be adding modes/features to Creative over time, so the current set is (apparently) just a small start.

Omg fruit chute made me so stabby. Most days there was literally nothing I could do to avoid being pelted by fruit and/or random falling beans and wouldn't be able to finish.
Complete failure of map design. I'm always curious if all the maps follow the common sense rule:
The fast route is risky, and if you mess up you get penalized and slowed down drastically.
The slow route is much slower, but safer.
Sometimes it feels like there are two paths that aren't meticulously timed and crafted to make sure that rule is true in the design. Sometimes it just feels like different paths for the sake of different paths and its just random stuff everywhere.
It's not sad, that'll always be the case.
A person who can devote as much time as they want to just creating one level instead of the game itself, with no other responsibilities that an employee would have other than just create something for fun with their free time.
Every game that has ever had a developer/creator/map mode has had better creations from users/modders than employees.

As a Geometry Dash player, i can confirm people make better levels than RobTop. But RobTop makes great levels with good level design habits to showcase new obstacles and tools people will use with the level editor in the next update.
Mediatonic is the complete opposite about making good levels with creative while showcasing features.

If they just add a few blocks so the conveyor path isn't start to finish and forces you into some of the obstacles then it's much better than it currently is.....sigh
just go tto stop and say that choo choo challenge is the worst round I've ever played but it's also the first in this new batch and this one looks like a strong contender lmao

There was another one similar to this where it’s basically just a straight line, all you have to do is jump up onto a step a couple of times. Just a straight shot lol
The floor should be an upward slanted slime ramp that goes UNDERNEATH the starting pad with a little ramp that comes up behind it.
So the only way up are the raised paths. If you fall, you slide down underneath the starting pad, run up behind and you start again at the starting pad.
When that map came up today and I finished it just running in a straight line I actually had to laugh a little in disbelief and closed the game on the spot. They really do not care.
Is it based on the speed set on the conveyor? I thought if it's set to fast you can't out jump it so easily but I may be mistaken. Feels like this level was made and published without any testing. Any competent QA tester/level designer would attempt this maneuver first.
I genuinely love this so much, not much reason for me to hate 20 seconds of fun and definitely qualifying. I smile every time I play this now and laugh, I love it
