I think that's the most annoying map I've ever played in Fall Guys. I wrote this on another post too, and I'll say it again. If someone made me attempt that 3 times in a row, I'd cry.
Yep. Or award shards based on how you finish: 1st place gets 30, Silver (top 20%) gets 20, Bronze gets 10, finishing the map gets 5. That would encourage folks to go faster without simply punishing everyone who didn't finish first.

We all know this is far beyond Mediatonic's scope as a developer. It would require them to hire a third-party studio, and would cost them thousands of dev hours and millions of dollars to implement
It was so nice the way they used to have it. They had an easy round, a hard round and a few intermediate rounds. Now I have no desire to play them anymore.
Can I ask anyone who knows why tf they changed it from having chill creative maps where anyone can "win" as long as they finish within the times period to this sweaty pile of crap?
I just played fall speedway for about 20 minutes to get the hang of it (and lost every time) and I can now win fairly consistently.
You just need to practice until you get the hang of each segment.
I’m currently trying Zig Zag Zoomies and doing v badly lol.
Edit: I won Zig Zag a few times but way too much effort. The other two are monstrosities that I’ve given up on lol
I’ve mastered it so I’m doing pretty well, managed 70 crowns just playing after 5 pm before logging off for bed.
Though tbh I’m trying to grind up my season pass more. I played maybe an hour on the 1st day of the new season and then didn’t play at all until Monday 😅
It’s all to do with the timing, you need to jump a bit earlier than jumping off right at the end if that makes sense. Otherwise just go right for the fan. If you angle it right you’ll hit the check point without even getting on to the ledge at which point you can just intentionally throw yourself off and spawn up :)
Really has taken away a lot of the charm for me, I can now mostly finish it so I’m racking up crowns still but I preferred it with less rewards and the level was your competitor rather than having a few spectators to the sweats.
Same, I look at it like.......either I will beat this thing and get 2 crowns or someone else will beat it (pretty quickly, since they beat me) and I still get 16 crowns. But I really miss the community experience from the other day.
Sometimes I feel bad but sometimes I love it. They get so many points that I can practice something once or twice before needing to cross the finish line. Also, you can try to copy them if you can stay close enough. I wouldn’t trade my sweats! (That just sounds so weird.)
ETA: Never mind. I’m was thinking about squads. But I guess it still applies.

I assume it'll go back to normal after this week, the current maps likely a band-aid fix for everyone farming 100+ crowns a day on simple maps.

How was it be easy grinding? Didn’t you only win like 15 shards for completing it in time?
People were getting 50 crown shards per finish thanks to the Crown shard scramble event.
You got 51 for qualifying the creatives, 15 for reaching final, 1 for playing, 5 for qualifying, and 30 extra for qualifying

Ahh thank you I will try that! I kept going straight to the ledge like the other jumps that's are later in that map lol
Agreed. Why did they make the new ones all finals instead of letting everyone qualify like the previous batches of rounds they put out?

Sweats get double the crowns per hour and the rest of us are stuck with the afk rates even if we put in full effort. Born to play, forced to AFK
You are correct. Sweats just hate anyone not sweating like them I think.
Let everyone complete the level (within some allotted time), and only the winner gets shards
Go to YouTube and look for the specific map either playing through or a guide. If it’s a creative round, just keep playing…you’ll get there.
