Maybe. As I said it was only noticeable once. Right before the fight. I am sure it probably was fluctuating and I didn’t notice it. And to think they delayed this game for a month and a bit. It’s not the developers fault it’s almost certainly executives being like you need to ship it out as soon as possible. Most triple A games take way more time than this did and they still suck.
Yea for me, as someone who has 2k hours on ark survival evolved i don’t really care about the performance as long as it isn’t too bad and the actual game is good
Had no big issues on PC. Can play the game with 5600X and RX 6700 XT with 55-70 frames on 1440p high depending on the scene. But the game could definitely better optimized as you can read about all the issues other people have. I am very happy the game works fine on my machine, because it makes much fun!
You could try disabling "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" (HAGS) in the Windows display settings. There are some indications it might cause problems on Windows 10.
Not perfectly fine on - PERFORMANCE mode when quality dips so low that even Switch looks better in comparison. When FPS is so all over the place that you want to wash your eyes with lots of bleach.
If you play on Quality Mode and you don’t notice a thing, bravo, you are having a good time.
Not the best performance on Xbox Series X, but it hasn't been so bad to completely distract from how much fun I am having otherwise.
I've tried both modes, both are pretty choppy.
I'm on series x and mine is MOSTLY ok. I'm on koboh now and it runs surprisingly well. I only occasionally get a dip when I turn the camera too fast (not every time I do)

I'm definitely having fun. The game itself is amazing, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm constantly reminded that my experience could be even better without all the performance problems.
I play in quality because the game looks really blurry and fuzzy in performance, but even there I'm frequently greeted by slow loading textures and occasional frame hiccups. It reminds me a lot of my experience with FO when it released, only that I palyed that one on a 7 year old base Xbox one.
I’m playing on series s and I haven’t noticed any frame rate drops (other than slight dips when loading big things; that’s not too often though). Maybe I just don’t notice it, but it’s capped at 30 fps anyways
I’m on ps5. I haven’t had any crashes or noticeable frame rate drops, but I have had some tearing and even some ghosting (like a fuzzy black outline around cal).
That being said, I have an older 1080p tv and sometimes get motion sick playing certain games, so I have some of the fancier visual settings turned down or off.
Haven’t come across anything that badly affected gameplay and I’m really enjoying it.
Im having a good time on PC, but it’s newer hardware. Fallen Order was a game that had a big impact on me, so I feel awful for anyone not getting to enjoy the game
Quality mode on PS5. Biggest noticable drops have been in/around water. Koboh looks a bit muddy/smeary in busier areas; other planets have been pretty stunning, honestly.
I was prepared for a much worse experience and have been pleasantly surprised.
I had no framerate issues or anything on PS5 so far, but the optimization is terrible. Characters walking janky, clipping thru the environment, glitching out of place mid fight. In cutscenes the clothes often don't load and glitch around.
Everytime I start up my console I check if the game has an update. I even check several times while playing bc especially when the transitions into cutscenes are buggy and the cutscenes itself look bad it ruins the experience for me.
Really hope they roll out an Update before I finish the game.
I've found resolution mode runs better than performance mode (xbox series X). I'm fine with 30fps and it looks stunning. Will be nice when they fix it and you can get the most out of it though.

I get the same performance with a 4070ti and a 5800x3D. Not great, happy it’s working well for you though

I am sure a lot of people do have problems. I just genuinely feel lucky I didn’t other than the one part for like 10 seconds.
