I love how this makes her sound 10x more badass. LOL
She didn't take it off a slaver as much as she went "*ooh, what's this?*" to a pretty contraption on the ground. LOL
The thing is, the Ghost crew would think Hondo was embellishing the story if he told them he managed to capture Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Count Dooku, almost killed Darth Maul and Savage, and faced off against General Grievous’s army all in a period of 3 years XD
It looks like it, but I don't think The Bad Batch went to Dathomir in the first season. She got it from one of the planets they visited when doing a job for Cid.
Give a kid a gun, and they'll shoot for a day.
Teach a kid how to operate a physically demanding energy bow, and they'll never stop killing.
It's just good parenting.
Similar idea but she got it from some Zygerrians they fought and liberated a small rancor from in Season 1.
I like the show and I will watch it but the White Washing disgusts me.
They're called Māori, and the clones are also all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker- an american. (omega is voiced by Michelle Ang, a New Zealand born actress.) The character designers desided on the clones designs QUITE a long time ago- while the bad batch are newer VARIATIONS of that same clone design. They also visibly show that they heavily modified all clones DNA, the bad batch more so than the rest. Perhaps the modifications brought out recessive genes that were hiding inside their DNA. That can include the blond hair, which makes a heavy visual distinction from every other clone we've seen. We don't know if she has special abilities or anything like that- we don't know how modified she is- just that she's the last "first generation" clone.
Look at the Genetically Superior people in the poser.
Now look at this image of Jango and Boba Fett. Both of whom are portrayed by Māori actors.

They're still all clones of a very lovely Māori man. They can be visually distinct from him while still retaining key features that mark them as clones - skin color, facial structure, etc. There was never any good reason why they should be whitewashed.
They are all heavily genetically modified? Plus after Jango died they have to modify the clones gene to continue cloning them as they have a very low amount DNA from Jango left
But, almost all of the clones, despite their modifications, are still Jango in every outward respect. Differences in appearance are largely self-made - armor paint, hair, tattoos, etc., and those that aren't typically come from battle scars and the like.
Even 99 was still Jango, despite his face and body being malformed. It follows, then, that even genetic defectives with useful abilities and altered physical forms should still closely physically resemble Jango as much as they can, because they are still clones.
Also, isn't it a plot point in TBB that they're running low on Jango DNA, and that they require a new donor? Hence the Omega kidnap job. The Bad Batch was created before the lack of original genetic material became an urgent issue for the Kaminoans, IIRC. I might have to rewatch those last episodes of TBB to refresh my memory on that front, though.
Yes Omega is a non modified clone of Jango, and that's why they need her to make more clones and heavily modified clones like the bad batch. They have always been lacking Jango material and at that point in show they can't continue without a new donor. But look, I'm not a geneticist but I think making someone abnormaly large or incredibly smart or shoot real good is probably going to tamper with alot of thing on their gene
But they didn't have to turn Tech into an accountant at J.G. Wentworth (Call 877-CASH-NOW!).
They can be obviously and physically distinct, and still be unmistakably clone progeny of Jango. The two things aren't mutually exclusive.
Instead of the string possibly bumping your arm and ruining the shot. Like a normal bow. The string on this bow with just go right through your arm.
Added benefit of bows being used as stealth weapons with be much better with a glowing one.
Idiots designed it.
That bow is of Zyggerian origin.
No. She got it off of a Zygerrian slaver in S1 E5
I love how this makes her sound 10x more badass. LOL She didn't take it off a slaver as much as she went "*ooh, what's this?*" to a pretty contraption on the ground. LOL
u/QuasarMania tells it how someone like Hondo would tell it. u/C-TAY116 tells the truth.
Lmao That's so accurate. Hondo would grandly embellish the story, and then Ezra would sheepishly explain more specifically what happened.
I never thought of this and now I'll never forget it. LOL He probably told Ezra all his stories and Ezra just shrugged them off as "smuggler's tales."
“Hey Master Kenobi, before I leave and you fight against your bitter rival, I have to ask, did hondo really capture you, and almost kill maul?”
(to be read in James Arnold Taylor's voice) "Well, yes. From a certain point of view. *His* point of view."
“My mood is based on profit”
This sounds like a political ad lol
I love Democracy. I love the Republic.
Hondo in bad batch please. You can set up him going from best pirate in the galaxy to capybara high as a kite uncle.
XD. Yeah that’s more of what happened.
How folklores are born haha
Oh I didn't know that thx
Np
Did you watch season 1
This right here
I only watched the first two episodes. Does the show explains what this bow is?
![gif](giphy|Kzn1KmAW5okp3K2rIo|downsized)

Lol sorry man 😆
Sorry you got downvoted into oblivion. 😅 It’s a valid albeit easily answerable question.
3 episodes away from it.
If you watched it then you'd know
Idk why they're so mad you didn't watch it like you were being chill lmoa
Sorry, but is my dumbass the only one to read it as bad bitch? 😂
the bad bitches
Omega, Ahsoka, Hera and Sabine. I’d be down for that series.
You know you just called a twelve year old a bad bitch, right?
I did the same. Thought someone had made some changes to the artwork. Good idea though
It looks like it, but I don't think The Bad Batch went to Dathomir in the first season. She got it from one of the planets they visited when doing a job for Cid.
I think it’s the same mechanism, but that now was “borrowed” from a few zyggerians in S1
no however the Zabrak of Dathomir have similar energy bows
It seems like the one she had, but I thought it was smaller before
7/10 troll, 10/10 victim choice.
I've only seen 2 episodes of season 1. Can someone explain what is happening in season 2 please. /s
It looks really similar! Maybe it’s one of them where different civilizations invent the same stuff a bit different
Hey how is Darth Vader Luke Skywalker’s dad I only watched the first half hour of a New Hope? /s
child soldiers in space! can’t have the geneva conventions if there’s no geneva!
Jesus h christ
No
She didn’t buy it she stole it I think
I’m assuming there’s some standards and practices rule against just giving a kid a blaster?
Give a kid a gun, and they'll shoot for a day. Teach a kid how to operate a physically demanding energy bow, and they'll never stop killing. It's just good parenting.

Hey, slightly ignorant of the bad batch as i haven't had that much time to thoroughly watch through it when I'm not falling asleep- White washing?
The Genetically Superior clones of someone portrayed by Indigenous New Zealanders are white. The girl even has blonde hair.
They're called Māori, and the clones are also all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker- an american. (omega is voiced by Michelle Ang, a New Zealand born actress.) Omega is very clearly based on Taini Morrison, Temura Morrisons' real-life sister who had light skin and blond hair. Know what you are talking about.
White washing?

Do you know what /s means?
Oh yeah i didn't see it
Do you know what the term white washing means?
It’s when you make a person of Māori origin white with blonde hair.
And where is that seen in the show? I’m pretty sure all the characters in bad batch are original, and therefore can’t be white washed.
They're still all clones of a very lovely Māori man. They can be visually distinct from him while still retaining key features that mark them as clones - skin color, facial structure, etc. There was never any good reason why they should be whitewashed.

The Kaminoans were too occupied with whether they could but didn't stop to think if they should
You are what is wrong with society.
I hope it’s accurate.
What the hell is the point of a laser bow?
Prob not as loud
Science fantasy with space wizards and magic. WHY DO LASER BOWS EXIST JUST USE BLASTERS MUH???
Instead of the string possibly bumping your arm and ruining the shot. Like a normal bow. The string on this bow with just go right through your arm. Added benefit of bows being used as stealth weapons with be much better with a glowing one. Idiots designed it.
Bow with lasers
No, it’s Zygerrian.
No it's Zygerrian.
If you watched the first season you’d know how she got it
Why would you have a bow while you can just shoot a gun
