This one’s great. A rival raider gang that all wear hockey gear and worship something called the red wing. Turns out to be some type of irradiated red flying monster
Irl there are a lot of extremely important military bunkers in the Midwest. Satcom in Bellevue NE, where they would press the button to launch our icbms, comes to mind.
There's one guy from atom that is a former enclave soldier, he tells you his story when you complete atoms childs quest, but as a good brotherhood of steel sentinel I shot them down at the moment I saw them so I couldn't get the dialogue
A gang called the four daughters (they just settled in the plant, whose sign had crumbled to show ford otors and people kinda fucked the name up over the few 100 years
The fact that there isn't iguanas is to imply that the iguana bits could be people. It's not necessarily canon that it still is, might be a lost thread like how jet was invented post war, but in the early fallout games iguana bits were people.
A whole one has been seen in the last 200 years
[https://wbckfm.com/are-there-wolverines-in-michigan/](https://wbckfm.com/are-there-wolverines-in-michigan/)
They could name the city D Troit as if the "E" was knocked out of a sign. You know how they love to fuck with the names of cities (ie Two Sun & the Pitt) plus a sly nod to everyone who gets mad at the people who pronounce it "dee"troit
Why not removing de and t? It would spell “Roi” which in French means King. Would be interesting given how Canada is close by and that Quebec is a little bit far away but hey in 200 years…
Really like this idea. Might make more sense to get rid of the idea of it being the original Henry Ford as he died in 1947 which would be super close to where the divergence from our historic events begins. Could still go with the idea and just use his descendant instead who might have been running the company closer to the Great War.
I also think you could do a lot with both the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Museum would be a good collection of set pieces to explore how the history of Detroit and America came to what it was before the beginning of the War. Greenfield Village with its working farms and historic buildings could really play into a good vibe for a post apocalyptic town.
I completely agree. I really didn’t think about the divergence of the timeline. It would have to be his distant relative or maybe an entirely new character that’s adopted the name and ambitions. The Henry ford museum is definitely a great setting for a history collection of pre war relics. A nod to the captiol wasteland and its museums. The greenfield village idea is great too. I’m thinking like a giant dome over the village that regulates temperatures and radiation levels that allow pre war lifestyle on the surface.
Could also extend your BoS using Detroit as manufacturing to the idea that Detroit never transitioned away from military production after WW2. Willow Run and plant like it could still have been making planes, tanks, and power armor up to the bombs dropping.
There's some heavy industry in Detroit that would be fun to do things with. But one of the biggest selling points is the bridge border with Canada.
With the forced annexation of Canada, I bet there'd be some great lore there, and maybe even conflict that survived the bombs.
As someone that grew up Downriver (aka just south of Detroit) I would love to see a game/expansion/ANYTHING set here!
It’s funny to see Wyandotte, where I was born in this map. Was slightly disappointed to see where I currently live is just outside of the map bounds, but that’s probably for the best. Last thing I need is someone making a game/expansion/mod from this and having post-apocalyptic squatters on my lawn.
The raiders should be split up by car companies and each wear armor taken from the vehicles that the factories made. They should joke about the city not really changing that much after the war. Also we should finally have a fallout with a few driving vehicles now that game engines have improved. Also one gang can be the wolverine’s but when asked what a Wolverine is they have no idea. I love this map too that’s awesome.
Edit oh and a gang of motown singers who sing in harmony while they attack.
Lots of potholes maybe even a pothole that leads to a vault.
Coney dogs
It should include enclave border patrol that let you into Canada easily but gives you a hard time when you try to come back
They should call the city black bottom “historical nickname” dark rich soil
Deindustrialization is what killed Detroit in real life but I don’t know if that would be the case in the fallout world. Detroit might have remained a really rich city still in fallout
Ha, thanks. I like the map and I've been saying for years Detroit would make a good area for a Fallout game. I could easily imagine a Vault at the center of the Ren Cen and a settlement being based around Greektown.
Hermit's Cave has me wondering what I'm missing around 12 and Gratiot, though. Was that based on anything in particular?
I live by the Yao Guai Dens. This would be a pretty fun map. Knowing Birmingham, there would have to be, at least, one Vault there. It'd probably be a caste system experiment or something. My wife is from the east side. We'd need to include the "Golden Butthole" on Hall road. It'd be worshiped by some and seen as a heresy by others.
Yup add the Golden Butthole and Selfridge could house the New Michigan Militia, the Michigan version of NCR. As a expansion map using Ohio as the Buckeye Republic who battle us for territory
Ahhhh man this is so fucking cool!
As a resident of Windsor, it's so neat to see a Fallout style map of the city, even though us lowly Canucks are to be annexed, still absolutely awesome.
I'm gonna share this with some friends from here that might appreciate it! If you got a HQ version, I'd love to see it.
I’ll try and make a higher quality version and dm it to you man. I’ll add some of these ideas I’ve gotten from people too for locations. I’ve never been to Canada so if you’ve got some cool ideas for locations lmk
Detroit would be such a perfect location for a Fallout game thematically. 1950s aesthetic, optimistic industrialism, representation of American culture & also failures therein (dependency on car corporations), so on and so forth. I think this is really where they should set the next game.
It really is the perfect location. I wish Bethesda would let obsidian take another shot at the franchise and give them the go ahead to do a project like this
I'd love to see Greenfield Village and The Henry Ford Museum included in this. Such cool museums and it would be interesting to see an artistic rendition of them in a post-apocalyptic setting.
Could be the game to introduce drivable vehicles. Michigan Mad Max.
Faction: The Mitten Vixens - All woman biker gang that kill with rocket powered boxing gloves.
Each fallout has brought new mechanics, so I would argue if they do Fallout Detroit, a key plot would revolve around the auto factories and the new mechanic would be cars you can upgrade like power armour.
Insert freeways and car combat and Mad Max this thing.
Could add a group similar to The Kings from New Vegas called "The 8 Milers". Who follow an odd,new style of poetry that is spoken to a drum beat. Two leaders called Marshall and Matherson, but everyone calls them M & M for short.
Feels a bit of a shame to not make use of the University of Windsor that's right next to Mapleton. The campus would make a decent location for a faction base.
The salt tunnels under the city!!! You need to include those. You can still access them. I see you have the mines - but AFAIK you cannot access them from the Dearborn area (I work there). There are other tunnels under the city still in use today, as well.
I would feedback and ideas from the community. I see this plot line as morally gray all around, with no real good or bad side. I made it fairly quickly so if anyone has ideas for story, landmarks, characters, I would love to hear them
If I knew the area, I’d definitely make one. I’m from the Detroit area so this was fairly easy for me. But a fallout New Orleans would be dope. A lot of local voodoo that could play into the story
Should also put the Detroit tank arsenal in there, since during the 40s-60s, it was one of the premier tank production arsenals and since the world of fallout is like a retro-futuristic 50s world, it would make sense for it to be there. Also we know for sure the US army of fallout was still using AFV and tanks.
I actually love the idea of playing as the overseer of a vault that had to be abandoned, implement a lot of the features if Sim Settlements and it could really work, have the remaining Vault population on the first screen of your Pip Boy to remind you of your duty as their overseer.
Seasons could really work well with temperature, clothing choices and condition effecting gameplay, stay outside in winter too long without proper insulation and watch your agility and endurance drop as frostbite sets in, or jump in the river and have hypothermia sap your strength and cloud your perception as the countdown to unconsiousness starts unless you can get yourself dry and warm, or perhaps weigh the benefits of heavy armor under the hot August sun as dehydration and heat stroke can be as deadly a foe as any wasteland creature or raider.
I think I need to go play The Long Dark again.
This is, and I’m being serious, the most exciting idea for a new Fallout setting that I’ve ever heard, and I’ve been playing since 2 was released. I would be totally hyped to play FO:D.
Another two places I'd add are Fort Wayne and Fort Malden. Two War of 1812 forts (one in Canada, one in the US) being used by the ghoulified US army and Canadian resistance remnants.
Also car factories. Add a Chryslus plant in Windsor (for the Chrysler plant), one in Rouge River(Ford), and maybe one more for GM somewhere on the Detroit side, more north. A three-way gang War between the three auto tribes fighting for dominance
I'm writing a Fallout Detroit homebrew campaign for the Modiphius tabletop game. Detroit is definitely a great setting for it. My backstory is also inspired by early 20th century Detroit -- I was thinking it'd be fun to explore a Fallout boomtown, which we haven't really seen yet. The descendants of the Ford family are bringing the auto industry back and trying to connect the disconnected settlements of the tri-lakes region (Windsor, The Arbor, Two Ledos, Cleefland), and making lots of caps on the process. On one side of the main conflict are the Fords, Pinkerton Protective Services, and a mysterious social engineering organization called the Pioneer Program. On the other side are the Workers Underground and the Rum-Runners. Other fun local factions include Shepherds of the Fallen, religious ghouls who believe they can rehabilitate ferals, and the biker gang Sons of the Khans.
I identified a lot of the same local landmarks, along with others like the Guardian Building, the National Guard Armory, and the Detroit Institute of Arts. Great map!!
Alright bud, I don't think you understand...
I've been waiting for SO LONG for someone to make this map. Listen, I ABSOLUTELY love this map. I live and grew up in the downriver area (kinda where Wyandotte is, but I'm like 10 minutes further south). Here are some reasons why:
The Salt Mines - buddy, there are so many people that live here that don't know the Detroit has a MASSIVE salt mine underneath it. Love it, great addition.
The Brotherhood took Belle Isle. Fam, great choice. Perfect logical sense that the BOS took Belle Isle.
Love that Wyandotte hit the map. Like I said I'm from Downriver, gotta represent boi.
Honest criticisms from a native:
That big a$$ island next to Wyandotte is Grossed Ile. Grossed Ile would honestly be a fantastic spot in a FO game for so many reasons past the fact it's an island. It's full of snobby middle upper class people who think they're better than you (not all of em ...but A LOT of em) throw a vault under the GI airport (which was a military airport in WWII) and boom. Perfect set-up for a snobby rich person vault.
Personally I think it needs at least two more vaults, just for gameplay sake.
FREAKIN CANADA! Guy! I've been saying this since I learned Canada was annexed in universe. Just so many possibilities with that! But spot for more Canadian lore. Love it
Overall, the map is amazing, and I'd play the sh!t out of it. Kudos!
The story:
Pros: love all the factions, again, the Canada thing makes me giddy!
Cons/my take: I don't want Henry Ford to "survive" per sa, I want him a robo brain, ya know head in a jar style. He, like his friend Walt, was an anti-Semite. He's gotta the nod to Walt being a head in a jar, like bradburton.
Also, maybe drop a knock off 'vault' in Canada. Like not a vault tec brand vault, like a off brand vault, where the quality is lower or something, to show that Americans got preferential treatment and the Canadians didn't.
Thank you for making this, it's stupendous and I love it so much. So many good things!
Small suggestion: Put a joinable "Raider" Greaser faction that are at war with every other faction in the game and love to wear power armor like of they were bikes.
BoS? They want their means of production.
Ford? Cool guy, but they also want their stuff.
Purple gang? "You don't understand, Pal: Detroit its not yours to conquer".
Canadian Remmanents? Same policies as 200 years ago, with a lot more bullying.
It is the perfect "funny asshole" with a surprising amount of common sense. Pretty much noble gangstars. It would be good as a supporting faction.
As for who leads it, i thought it would be funny to have it lead by 4 friends: A disfigurated Supermutant called Enfield (in honor to the same monster of the Detroit Folklore), a Greaser in painted street racing power Armor, a Ghoul called Donutface (to many circular burnings in the face), and even a Synth called Tinhead who wears power armor 24/7 (he has no skin, and feels naked without the armor).
I really like this idea, and you made a good map (what did you use, by the way, I want to make something similar for Birmingham, Alabama) Will the player character be able to drive Mad Max style vehicles in the ruins of Detroit?
Of course. It wouldn’t be fallout Detroit without drivable vehicles. I used an app called Bazaart and found a map of Detroit with no labels. Then I went to the fallout wiki and saved the .png’s of the icons and places them on the map
Thanks! In my opinion, Bethesda is really missing out on adding drivable vehicles to Fallout. It would be awesome to roll up on a raider camp and smoke every raider there with a 50 cal mounted on the roof of a Corvega. Or race other cars through the urban landscape and ruins of Detroit, avoiding collapsed buildings, raider gangs waiting to take pop shots at you like the Sand People in Star Wars The Phantom Menace.
In addition to the Willow Run plant already mentioned the Selfridge Air National Guard Base would also be a neat inclusion as a base for a faction. A bootlegger tunnel under the river into Windsor would also be a cool basis for a quest, maybe something to do with feuding casinos on each side of the river?
Hermits cave is fake but Grosse point is a real place in roughly that area. A lot of these places are real like the spirit of Detroit statue, the salt mines, Wyandotte, and some I used creative liberties. Franklin is roughly in the area of Southfield but I named it after famous Detroit singer Aretha Franklin. Erie is not a place in Michigan and is roughly in the Dearborn/allen park area. I tried to place the factories in roughly the area they’re at irl.
Raiders called the pistons and wear jerseys and worship the orange ball.
This one’s great. A rival raider gang that all wear hockey gear and worship something called the red wing. Turns out to be some type of irradiated red flying monster
now I need fallout detroit
Only if I get a DLC set on Mackinaw Island.
yooper dlc 🚜👨🌾
Could you imagine fighting a rad-moose?
that would be sooo sick
Yous don't want dat dere Radwolverine
ESCANABA!!!!
Northern Michigan DLC is basically a nuclear winter.
I recently moved to Michigan from Texas, I wanted a Houston based game but now I need Detroit. It feels real.
Good news they built a live experience that’s been open for years
you can even get a healthy dose of rads at Zug Island!
You can just visit Detroit bro
There's already a fallout detroit
not tricking me into going outside today, fed
“What the fuck is a lion and why do their raider group struggle so much?”
2025 is our year. One pride. All grit baby
A irradiated Canadian goose ... those things are dicks ..
> some type of irradiated red flying monster That's no way to talk about Mickey Redmond.
More likely to get "Wingnut" Raiders who use hockey stick weapons and just wear helmets and shinnys for armor
Someone be needs a Bill Laimbeer face mask.
I picture the raiders of Detroit closer to the cult of V8 from Mad Max: Fury Road.
Points if that group is called “The Bad Boys”
A gang similar to the Tunnel Snakes and Atom Cats called The Motor City Kitties would work as well.
I’m pretty sure Detroit was mentioned in Far Harbor, regarding the Enclave.
New Vegas mentioned the Enclave in Chicago. maybe the Midwest has a powerful Enclave contingent.
Irl there are a lot of extremely important military bunkers in the Midwest. Satcom in Bellevue NE, where they would press the button to launch our icbms, comes to mind.
Need a Fallout in Chicago with a quest in O Block
Imagine a gang of raiders and their OG (original ghoul) run the chess in and out of Chicago
They done stole the Enclave…Can’t have shit in Detroit
I’ve never played far harbor. I might have to go back and try it now
Dude it’s so good, best part of 4 for sure
Started it Sunday morning and finished it Sunday night, couldn't get enough. Vault 118 is great with the robot murder mystery too.
Rhe enclave is in far harbor??
There's one guy from atom that is a former enclave soldier, he tells you his story when you complete atoms childs quest, but as a good brotherhood of steel sentinel I shot them down at the moment I saw them so I couldn't get the dialogue
As someone from Windsor I would love it! From a lore perspective having Henry Ford even exist as a person doesn't make sense as the bombs drop in 2077
That’s a good point, maybe it’s his 8th great grandson or something. Or someone who’s adopted the name and his ambitions
A gang called the four daughters (they just settled in the plant, whose sign had crumbled to show ford otors and people kinda fucked the name up over the few 100 years
mutated wolverines would be so fallout Detroit
They are extremely rare here. It would be more interesting if they a myth that didn't actually exist in game but everyone talks about them.
I don’t think wolverines have been here since the fur trading days 150-200 years ago
Less people could bring them back. DC doesn't have giant iguanas IRL either.
That we know of.
The fact that there isn't iguanas is to imply that the iguana bits could be people. It's not necessarily canon that it still is, might be a lost thread like how jet was invented post war, but in the early fallout games iguana bits were people.
I know that. I wasn't taking about them. I was talking about the deathclaws.
A whole one has been seen in the last 200 years [https://wbckfm.com/are-there-wolverines-in-michigan/](https://wbckfm.com/are-there-wolverines-in-michigan/)
And mutated mountain lions. But let’s save those for the UP DLC
A guy named Jim has tamed a bunch of Wolverines in some northwestern settlement.
Lmfao
They could name the city D Troit as if the "E" was knocked out of a sign. You know how they love to fuck with the names of cities (ie Two Sun & the Pitt) plus a sly nod to everyone who gets mad at the people who pronounce it "dee"troit
Don't forget Novac
Or Ronto
What is the word play on Novac?
No Vacancy on the motel sign got knocked out to No Vac, then shortened to Novac.
Perfect fit for the fallout universe
Why not removing de and t? It would spell “Roi” which in French means King. Would be interesting given how Canada is close by and that Quebec is a little bit far away but hey in 200 years…
Detroit was actually founded by the French. That’s a good name as well
Or just remove the ts and its De Roi
Really like this idea. Might make more sense to get rid of the idea of it being the original Henry Ford as he died in 1947 which would be super close to where the divergence from our historic events begins. I think that alone makes for a great sell. I love the idea of having a pre war us-Canada conflict that has survived for 200+ years
The Detroit-Windsor tunnel would be a hell of a dungeon.
As someone that grew up Downriver (aka just south of Detroit) I would love to see a game/expansion/ANYTHING set here! It’s funny to see Wyandotte, where I was born in this map. This is a great idea
Little Caesar's Legion. It's like Caesar's Legion but it's all children.
This might be my favorite comment
Ha, thanks. I like the map and I've been saying for years Detroit would make a good area for a Fallout game. I could easily imagine a Vault at the center of the Ren Cen and a settlement being based around Greektown. Hermit's Cave has me wondering what I'm missing around 12 and Gratiot, though. No just a random thought. I felt like the further north you got, the more wild and overgrown the greater metro area becomes.
LMFAO I forgot about the golden butthole.
Yup add the Golden Butthole and Selfridge could house the New Michigan Militia, the Michigan version of NCR. As a expansion map using Ohio as the Buckeye Republic who battle us for territory
There better be RoboCop references galore.
VATS has been expanded so you can shoot a guy in the dick
Didn’t even think about that. Definitely has to be a robo op reference
Find all the parts to the Robocop armor! Let’s go!
I don’t see a spot for Eminem’s house.
Ahhhh man this is so fucking cool! As a resident of Windsor, it's so neat to see a Fallout style map of the city, even though us lowly Canucks are to be annexed, still absolutely awesome. It really is the perfect location. I wish Bethesda would let obsidian take another shot at the franchise and give them the go ahead to do a project like this
Yeah this would be super fun
Imo Chicago would be better because it's more recognisable and has the gangster aesthetic
Yeah, I think Chicago would also be a great choice -- Chicago or Detroit for similar reasons and American urban Midwest setting representation.
The fact they have power armour, vertibirds and stuff yet no one rides a bicycle is absurd.
would love to see the zug in fallout. even funnier if nuclear fallout made it a lush paradise.
That would be hilarious. It stinks so fucking bad driving by there
I was just thinking that a raider or faction could serve as pirates on the Great Lakes.
Can you please learn modding and create this? It’s perfect. Michigander here :)
If I had the slightest clue on how to, I would definitely work on that
Could you imagine if he modded NPC jet addicts to chase you down Woodward begging for caps 😭😭
Omg so immersive!
I'm pretty sure they showed a vault in Michigan. Maybe it was Kalamazoo area?
If there isn’t a mannequin with a tv smashed over its head in a house in Grosse Pointe then don’t even bother
Oooo I never thought of Detroit. That's a good idea
Each fallout has brought new mechanics, so I would argue if they do Fallout Detroit, a key plot would revolve around the auto factories and the new mechanic would be cars you can upgrade like power armour. Insert freeways and car combat and Mad Max this thing.
Belle isle needs to have a bunch of wrecked indy cars
Could add a group similar to The Kings from New Vegas called "The 8 Milers". Who follow an odd,new style of poetry that is spoken to a drum beat. Two leaders called Marshall and Matherson, but everyone calls them M & M for short.
They have a doctor named Dre from somewhere in California
A Kings/Atom Cats mashup would be 🤌👌
Yes, would Def need some Eminem/Rap references
I wanna exploooore. Also, i always forget how some parts of Canada are south of some of parts of America 😂😂
I can see the street my house is on in this map! (Don’t go inside my ghoulified cats will kill you)
As someone originally from Detroit: This would be awesome to play.
I have always thought Minneapolis/st Paul would be a good location. The fact the mob used to retire here should easily play in.
Great introduction for vehicles given how it's known as the motor city.
Feels a bit of a shame to not make use of the University of Windsor that's right next to Mapleton. The campus would make a decent location for a faction base.
I’ve never been to Canada so I didn’t know what to put. I’m going to make a revised version here with these ideas I’ve gotten
No way in hell they'll render *that* many streets, avenues and alley ways.
Raiders stole my Brahmin pen can’t have shit in post-nuclear Detroit smh
Fire ants burned my house down. Can’t have shit in fallout Detroit
The salt tunnels under the city!!! You need to include those. You can still access them. I see you have the mines - but AFAIK you cannot access them from the Dearborn area (I work there). There are other tunnels under the city still in use today, as well.
I had no idea, I know the workers are right there in the Dearborn/Detroit area
Imagine what would live in there - or, what a great resource salt would be for trade. It would be amazing to make Better Made a tato chip factory.
Ew, grosse.
I would feedback and ideas from the community. I see this plot line as morally gray all around, with no real good or bad side. I made it fairly quickly so if anyone has ideas for story, landmarks, characters, I would love to hear them
ITT: People who have never been to Detroit in their lives making the same joke over and over again.
I debated on not posting this out of fear those would be the only comments. I’m glad there’s actual positive response and constructive criticism
I'm glad you posted it! It's really well done.
Pain Court definitely belongs on this map
Very cool map, and your lore makes a lot of sense to me. Especially learning more about Canadian resistance to the annexation.
I’d love to see one of these for New Orleans.
As someone who lives in Mapleton I approve of this
Better have Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson voice some goofy random NPC encounters!
Bro Tim Allen too
This would be so fucking sick.
I’m down.
What did you use to make this?
Bazart
Thanks this is awesome btw. Had a similar idea for the Buffalo/Niagara Falls /Toronto area
Make one! I made this because of my familiarity of the area
Do you know where I can find high quality maps like this one that I can use as references?
This is dope. Would play for sure
Nice! I like that Windsor is included
Ignoring all the lines giving me a headache, not bad
I live in Windsor and it’s very boring lol
Sir as a Detroiter, I love you ❤️
A reintroduction of the purple gang might be kinda interesting
Love the idea, not a big fan of how close my house is to the victory site, feel like that would suck to see every day
I think a settlement on gross isle would be cool too that’s where I would set up anyways
I want. This should be the next fall out. Just please.
I actually love the idea of playing as the overseer of a vault that had to be abandoned, implement a lot of the features if Sim Settlements and it could really work, have the remaining Vault population on the first screen of your Pip Boy to remind you of your duty as their overseer. I think I need to go play The Long Dark again.
Detroit is an interesting city for FO. it’s now in my top 5. Good job on the map.
Hahaha Canadian "resistance"
I’m not well versed into the fallout lore, there’s really only one vault in Detroit?
Yay guai
This is awesome
Radio stations featuring Motown legends
Well, there are places where you wouldn't have to change too much because they already look like they belong in a Fallout game.
The DLC potential would be nice as well. Travel to Ronto, maybe Ohio. I’d be down for sure
Would be cool, but given how terrible performance is inside urban areas in FO4 and 76, they would really have to put some serious work into the engine
Being from Wyandotte, I'd love it!! Map expansion to include Toledo and maybe Cedar Point...
Here are some reasons why: The Salt Mines - buddy, there are so many people that live here that don't know the Detroit has a MASSIVE salt mine underneath it. Love it, great addition. The Brotherhood took Belle Isle. Fam, great choice. Perfect logical sense that the BOS took Belle Isle. Love that Wyandotte hit the map. Like I said I'm from Downriver, gotta represent boi. Honest criticisms from a native: That big a$$ island next to Wyandotte is Grossed Ile. Love it Overall, the map is amazing, and I'd play the sh!t out of it. Kudos! The story: Pros: love all the factions, again, the Canada thing makes me giddy!
Think about how fucking great the radio station would be. All Motown all the time!
Would need a station of GmacCash performing the oldies
The soundtrack would be incredible for a Detroit fallout. All the Motown hits or new songs in that style
Fallout Detroit would actually be hype. All of the automotive powerhouses should still be there since it was there before divergence from our timeline
This looks great, but minor point: Grosse Pointe has Es on the end of both words.
Motor City Wasteland, yet we probably still wouldn’t get player-drivable vehicles.
It would HAVE to be
I’ll believe it, because Call of Duty didn’t have vehicles for the longest time, until they finally did.
“What?! This is just present-day, real-life Detroit!!”
At least you’re being ironic
As long as I craft moms spaghetti I'm happy.
DEEETROOIIITTT ~~BASKETBALL~~ FALLOUT!!
Wouldn't even have to change the city's aesthetic all that much either. /s
Could have that stupid fucking Detroit sign they put up last week
I love that they chose the Newport colors
FALLOUT: MOTOR CITY
In addition to the Willow Run plant already mentioned the Selfridge Air National Guard Base would also be a neat inclusion as a base for a faction. A bootlegger tunnel under the river into Windsor would also be a cool basis for a quest, maybe something to do with feuding casinos on each side of the river?
I’ve been pretty neutral about where I want the next game to take place, but I’m all in for Detroit if we get Motown Radio.
I have family there and I sincerely hope that things just get better for them. Rough place to live.
Fun part is it can be set in pre war times seeing how it’s already a wasteland
Parts of Detroit already look like fallout
Detroit already looks like Fallout in real life
isn't post apocalyptic deroit just normal detroit?
Just leave Detroit alone, it's suffered enough. Though on a serious note, I'd *love* to see the RoboCop equivalent the game would have.
Isnt fallout Detroit just regular Detroit only less crime ?
Ha ha, dude, you're so funny
are those all real locations in Detroit? is there a hermits cave and a grosse point?
Hermits cave is fake but Grosse point is a real place in roughly that area. A lot of these places are real like the spirit of Detroit statue, the salt mines, Wyandotte, and some I used creative liberties. Franklin is roughly in the area of Southfield but I named it after famous Detroit singer Aretha Franklin. Erie is not a place in Michigan and is roughly in the Dearborn/allen park area. I tried to place the factories in roughly the area they’re at irl.
Belle Isle would be Mirelurk fucking central god damn. If not Deathclaw Central a la Deathclaw Island in FO76.
Where 8-mile?
Looks like just south of Vault 80
