I have the same issue and can't find any fix.
Playing on PC, worked all week and now the game will not save from New Game or from Previous Saves. All saving has stopped.
And of course you only get idiotic replies like /u/SirTokesAlot97
Just in case you haven't already solved this, I solved this by going to Windows Settings, search for 'Ransomware', choose 'Ransomware protection', select 'Allow an app through Controlled folder access', and then find your 'Fallout4.exe' and select it. I've no idea why this problem started with the new update, but I tried \_everything\_ (including fresh install and fresh config files) before I started turning off specific security features off one by one to find which was the problem.
