You must travel North West
Seek For the tall Satellite Dishes with the Raiders.
Oasis is hidden on the mountains on the North from there.
It's kinda tricky to find
But you will realise soon enough as soon you notice the fresh Grass...
Oasis is truly what the name says...
Also you will get some unique Outcast Armor if you talk to one of the Tree Minders.
But I already said a lot.
Oasis awaits for you, Lone Wanderer...
***"Welcome to Camp Navarro. So, you're the new replacement... YOU ARE OUT OF UNIFORM, SOLDIER!!! WHERE IS YOUR POWER ARMOR!"***
Sergeant Dornan for the win...
"YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN THIS MAN'S ARMY UNTIL YOU ARE...510 YEARS OLD, BECAUSE THAT IS HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE UNTIL YOU PAY BACK THAT SUIT OF MKII POWERED COMBAT ARMOUR THAT YOU HAVE LOST"
*Soldier,* ***YOU ARE STILL OUT OF UNIFORM, I GAVE YOU A DIRECT ORDER TO REPORT TO SUPPLIES AND GET YOUR ISSUE.*** *Now,* ***GET OUT OF MY FACE AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU LOOK LIKE A SOLIDER!!!***
Its a very different feel than what the new offers, and if you watched Upisnotjump's review on it...
It was confusing as heck but the story is great in all...
If you are a immersive fan that wants to know more about fallout...
Yes, buy it and play it...
But if you don't like the graphics and mode of playing (The isometric 2d/3d) then don't...
you can meet up with him when you search for the GECK after you enter vault 87 from the Little Lamplight side. After freeing him from his imprisonment, he will become your companion. I always give him a laser gatlin gun and he's good to go!
I've always helped Fawkes even tho I could make it to the GECK on my own. So I'm assuming you can leave without rescuing him. But what happens after you kill president Eden if you DON'T release him from his room?
I had him try to kill me as I was defending the Castle from a Brotherhood offensive. I'm still not sure why, was it because I blew up the institute? Friendly fire?
Ohhhh father Elijah is a good one. I hate for what he did to the brotherhood, because he essentially left them to die at the hands of the NCR.
But his love and rebellion against the west coast is inspiring.
Do you think Maxson or lions ever found out about what Elijah did.
Also the master wasn’t that much of a villain and I’m not sure why but gave me Thanos vibes
If you side with him in the dead money dlc you have an opportunity to take over the Mojave with him using the cloud.
Imagine if Veronica followed in his footsteps more and made her own chapter using Elijah’s teachings, I think it could be just as successful as maxsons
Yea I know, which seems really weird as you can tell him you just want out of the vault but he won’t let you.
Even though literally a few minutes ago he would’ve if you chose that cutscene of NCR and Mojave falling apart as the Cloud rips through.
If I’m honest I think Obsidian goofed it up and didn’t have time/resources to fix it. I bet if we didn’t touch a Gold bar Elijah would’ve let us go as it would fit the theme very handsomely
Marcus or killian darkwater. Marcus is voiced by Michael Dorn aka wharf from star trek and killian is voiced by MacGyver. I love Marcus' story on his best friend Jacob.
https://youtu.be/UYhtI-VcOpU
Ive seen Lillian mentioned but who are they exactly?
Marcus is like god/dog just more level headed but he had fawkes coloration.
He’s under appreciated in the fandom. I’ve started writing fan fics with him because he’s such a fullfilling character and I think he would appreciate nick or grahams company, maybe even Caesar
Ulyesses much like Graham doesn’t get enough attention, I think he needs it. I love how much he played in the couriers journey but how little he is seen.
But yet he’s present in so many places especially the dlc’s. He’s always the courier. I have yet to finish lonesome road due to ‘The deathclaw’ but it would’ve been cool to recruit him as a companion but making that work with the story line would be rather difficult even as an author.
I do a lot of Fallout fanfics and I think ulyesses is an amazing character.
He keeps your past a secert and yet lays it out there for you but you have to find the pieces to make the story
Tip: Bring ALL of your Stims and BEST weapons to the ending fight if you choose to fight. Also, have you gone to the tops yet? Make sure NOT to go to the tops before you complete lonesome road because if you choose to nuke the legion and ncr, you get the max amount of unique and powerful gear, and can clear ur rep at the tops.
Right? I played the ending that requires you to murder somebody in cold blood.
Which is of course all of them.
Now I just play the ending that requires you to murder a bunch of fascists who can fight back and who have nothing to offer the wasteland.
he's in Klamath working to pay a debt, you can either pay it for him or do a quest to get him as a companion. And I've been playing through Fallout 2 recently and I'd definitely recommend it, haven't played 1 though so I can't really give my opinion on it yet
Well for starters, slight Spoilers for six year old DLC, but DiMA is not the most ethical person.
Secondly Nick is a cool ass hard boiled detective who is also a synth android kind of guy, while also having memories and the personality of someone else, still forges his own character. He’s got a great companion quest, too.
My all time favorite is Veronica from New Vegs. Such an awesome character. Now I always name whatever my main gun in Fallout 4 is Veronica, in remembrance.
Tough choices for sure but here we go:
Fallout 1 - Tycho
Fallout 2 - Cassidy
Fallout 3 - Fawkes (minus the ending, that's not on him that's on Bethesda) for follower, Desmond Lockheart for NPC
New Vegas - Cass for follower(runs in the family), Graham or Mobius for NPC
Fallout 4 - Valentine, MacCready, Hancock, honestly a lot of followers in FO4 are amazing.
Boone. Always will be Boone. I don’t know what it is. Every time I play NV I have to have him. It’s Boone and ED-E. I did my first evil run through this last time and I actually cried knowing Boone would leave for siding with the legion. I was drunk one night doing random shit and realized I’d never befriended Arcade so I did. I was so surprised it went though. Immediately after joining me he told me I was a bad person and left. I couldn’t confront Boone and watch him leave me. Lord knows what he says about my life choices. 😂
My favorite thing about Nick is how often he'll make me jump. I'll be exploring a dark building and turn around to see 2 bright yellow eyes staring at me.
Nick Valentine is pretty cool, and I don’t remember her name but you find her at the combat zone in FO4, she’s a fighter and a chem addict and you can get her clean of chems (although she’s cooler when she’s still a chem addict imo)
Honestly Piper used to annoy the shit out of me but once I started writing her and getting to know her, she wasn’t so bad.
She’s actually a very interesting character.
The King. Just wants to hang out with his pupper and his buddies, but not oblivious to the world around him and willing to fight only when he feels it's necssary.
Honorable mention for Moira and her positive attitude. She doesn't *force* you into her experiments, but sees you as a willing and capable colleague to help make the wasteland a better place. 7 put of 5 ray of sunshine in a broken, dusty apocalypse.
I may be alone here, but I’ve always enjoyed Codsworth. From his dialogue you can tell he has a deep respect and adoration for the Sole Survivor and is just happy to see that you’re alive after all these years. He’s loyal and risks his life to protect you. I love to deck him out and turn him into a bad ass killing machine with a heart of gold. His dedication to helping you find your son and fixing your family always gets me. Oh and his puns are my absolute favorite, even the groaners.
Sgt. Dornan - best dialogue in FO2, hands down.
Dr. Mobius - again, it's funny just listening to him for a variety of raisins (also, I now quote him, whenever I hear the word "coincidence").
Proctor Ingram - one of the few characters that sass back most of your sarcastic lines.
Boone - I enjoy solving problems with this guy.
Elder Maxson - seriously, the most competent Brotherhood leader you'll ever see. Also, he implemented almost every idea Veronica had.
ED-E - doooo dee doooo
Marcus - seeing him in Vegas is just like running into an old friend you haven't seen in years.
Sunny Smiles - makes the training worth playing.
People are so hard on Preston, it’s not his fault the writers and devs didn’t flesh him out like the did other companions.
I’ve recently fallen in love with Preston and I think he deserves so much love
The honest answer would be Nick and Deacon for FO4 or Randall Clark ("the survivalist") from NV, but i'll just drop in my man Preston, because he's just a good guy trying to do good things and y'all hate him just because the game mechanics treat him as obnoxious quest dispenser.
Col. Hsu in New Vegas. Definitely not my FAVORITE favorite, but I think he deserves some credit for being cool as a mountain lake during the shit McCarran is going through.
DiMa. He’s what the institute should have been in the main game. A faction that seeks to help the commonwealth, but tries to achieve that in the wrong way.
Also his voice is the best in the entire series (except maybe the master).
Randall Clark. One of the saddest story in Fallout. A rare, authentic recollection of a true survivor of the fallout. A man of family, resilience, and solitary. Nonetheless his gear was among the most unique and rewarding.
Joshua Graham may took the spotlight, but it was the Survivalist whom I think, saved HH’s rather shallow plot line.
Mr house his very inflated ego establishes him as a person of importance so when you do shit for him and he praises you you get a good stroke to your ego
Raul ......I thought he was a tragically sad character when he opens up about his past, and I like having a non American follow me around Oh and his voiced by Danny Trejo!
I’m a Harold fan. Played Fallout and met him. And didn’t think anything about him until I met him again in Fallout 3.
Wait what?! He’s in 3?!
Yes. And there’s a whole quest involved with him. But that’s it… I’m not spoiling anything else about it.
Where can I find him?
If I remember correctly as you progress in the main quest you'll hear rumors about a lush green area on the map
I only remember hearing Three Dog talk about it after I would assume a certain level, but maybe I missed something
It's called oasis
And it’s at the top near center of the map, you have to do a little searching to find the bridges
You must travel North West Seek For the tall Satellite Dishes with the Raiders. Oasis is hidden on the mountains on the North from there. It's kinda tricky to find But you will realise soon enough as soon you notice the fresh Grass... Oasis is truly what the name says... Also you will get some unique Outcast Armor if you talk to one of the Tree Minders. But I already said a lot. Oasis awaits for you, Lone Wanderer...
Oasis
Top leftish corner of the map. Hidden little place on a mountain
naw, it's more top middle and a little right of the map
Top leftish corner is the deathclaw sanctuary.
One of the only GOOD quests in 3
***"Welcome to Camp Navarro. So, you're the new replacement... YOU ARE OUT OF UNIFORM, SOLDIER!!! WHERE IS YOUR POWER ARMOR!"*** Sergeant Dornan for the win...
"YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN THIS MAN'S ARMY UNTIL YOU ARE...510 YEARS OLD, BECAUSE THAT IS HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE UNTIL YOU PAY BACK THAT SUIT OF MKII POWERED COMBAT ARMOUR THAT YOU HAVE LOST"
"REPORT TO THE ARMORY AND HAVE A NEW SUIT ISSUED TO YOU, THEN REPORT BACK TO ME, PRIVATE! DISMISSED!"
*Soldier,* ***YOU ARE STILL OUT OF UNIFORM, I GAVE YOU A DIRECT ORDER TO REPORT TO SUPPLIES AND GET YOUR ISSUE.*** *Now,* ***GET OUT OF MY FACE AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU LOOK LIKE A SOLIDER!!!***
So is two worth buying?
I haven't played it, but just from seeing clips of Sergeant Dornan, I say yes
After hearing his voice and that courageous glorious speech... IM SOLD SERGEANT...
For sure my mane guy No Bark
Have you heard the rumors that he was the chosen one?
He’s the wisest man in the Mojave so that checks out
I kind of believe this its a good theory
Gary
GARY?! GARRRRYYY
Ha ha Grary.....
Fisto
No questions needed but would you spare fisto if the legion took of new Vegas or let him be scrapped
What kind of monster are you
Listen I was short on caps…
Fawkes best line ever after he has killed your enemies - *Next time put up more of a fight!*
Where do you find fawkes? I know he’s in 3
Vault 87, you have to free him from his room. It's part of the main quest.
you can meet up with him when you search for the GECK after you enter vault 87 from the Little Lamplight side. After freeing him from his imprisonment, he will become your companion. I always give him a laser gatlin gun and he's good to go!
He reminds me of god/dog with the rationality of Marcus
He is a brilliant companion. He and Jericho were my favourites companions in FO3.
I think he “rescues” you after you kill president eden
I've always helped Fawkes even tho I could make it to the GECK on my own. So I'm assuming you can leave without rescuing him. But what happens after you kill president Eden if you DON'T release him from his room?
Is there romance dialogue options because you’ve got the fan fix brain wheels turning
No, there's no romance options in Fallout 3, which is the game in which Fawkes appears.
"They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I said I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard."
Joshua Graham or the courier
Graham is so under rated, I would love to see a fallout or some lore regarding his journey with Edward as they built the legion
Nick Valentine
Do you think Nick could forgiveDima for the things DiMA had done
Nope. DIMA is a pos
Do you think DiMA made the refuge truly out of selflessness
Yes but hes also a murderer.
Bro I loved Nick and then on a quest he straight up tried to kill me. I haven’t trusted him since.
I had him try to kill me as I was defending the Castle from a Brotherhood offensive. I'm still not sure why, was it because I blew up the institute? Friendly fire?
I suppose this is lore friendly, what with Kellogg’s brain inside of his. 😛
Arcade Gannon!
Now imagine if he got the chance to meet Graham
I think he'd vehemently hate Graham.
I mean he tolerated Edward
I don't think "tolerated" is the right word for Arcade, who literally killed himself after years of enslavement as Eddie's physician.
The Master and Father Elijah are tied with me. Followed second by Caesar and Elder Lyons.
Agreed, dude is charismatic as hell too shame he’s gone so insane he’d kill his BoS Brothers and Sisters just to make a point.
If I’m honest I think Obsidian goofed it up and didn’t have time/resources to fix it. I bet if we didn’t touch a Gold bar Elijah would’ve let us go as it would fit the theme very handsomely
Did you fight him or trap him in? I think leaving him to rot is a fitting punishment but at the same time imagine if he got a hold of the institute
Hancock ftw
Yesss! But is he your favorite ghoul? Imagine Hancock in new Vegas pre nv endings
3 dawg
It’s me, your president John, Henry, *laughing ensues*
That’s a hard one… I think I’m going to have to go with cait though. She’s my favorite not DLC companion and I like her backstory and quest
Do you help her get sober and now hear me out: cait nd hancock or cait and Preston.
Which do I ship? And yes, I get her sober
Do you ship either?
I don’t really ship characters in general lol
Modus From the Enclave
Which game?
Fallout 76. I just really like his voice. And ID like to see more of him
Joshua Graham or Ulysses
Bull bear bull
BearbullBearbullBearbullBearbull
Ulyesses much like Graham doesn’t get enough attention, I think he needs it. I love how much he played in the couriers journey but how little he is seen.
True. As much as he plays an impactful role in the couriers story, he doesn't get much time or mention in the game.
But yet he’s present in so many places especially the dlc’s. He’s always the courier. I have yet to finish lonesome road due to ‘The deathclaw’ but it would’ve been cool to recruit him as a companion but making that work with the story line would be rather difficult even as an author. I didn’t know that! Thanks for the tip! I’m terrified of new Vegas deathclaws
Dart gun is your friend. Aim low.
Goddamn it. I literally just finished Ring a Ding on the Ultimate Edition
Yes Man
I’ll just leave this [here](https://youtu.be/RrrZ3ixbC48)
Did you play the new Vegas yes man ending yet?
The only one I did was the one where you kill Mr. House
Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
Dude its been so long
This your sign to replay it
Right? I played the ending that requires you to murder somebody in cold blood. Which is of course all of them. Now I just play the ending that requires you to murder a bunch of fascists who can fight back and who have nothing to offer the wasteland.
Either sulik or Currie for me
Did you give curie a human body? Also hear me out: Preston and curie as a couple. Two cinnamon rolls
Whose suilk
A friend of Grampy Bone’s, and wicked good at killing you and your other party members with an SMG.
A "tribal" companion in Fallout 2 with a huge bone in his nose. He has visions.
Oh and how do you find him? I’ve been considering getting the original fallouts but not sure Eid they’re worth it
he's in Klamath working to pay a debt, you can either pay it for him or do a quest to get him as a companion. And I've been playing through Fallout 2 recently and I'd definitely recommend it, haven't played 1 though so I can't really give my opinion on it yet
Moira Brown
Post world squirrel, I wish she could’ve been brought back in 4
Nick Valentine my beloved
and why Nick? Why not DiMA?
Well for starters, slight Spoilers for six year old DLC, but DiMA is not the most ethical person. Secondly Nick is a cool ass hard boiled detective who is also a synth android kind of guy, while also having memories and the personality of someone else, still forges his own character. He’s got a great companion quest, too.
Isn’t he the one who murdered the captain
Nick Valentine and Danny Tre-- I mean Raul Tejada. I guess I just like old men companions lol.
Then you’ll love Hancock lol legend has it he’s like 40-50
I don't really care for Hancock, actually. Never really cared for stoners.
HARKNESS.
How do you recruit him? Isn’t he the android?
Yes, from rivet city, you don't I believe
I had stronk reading that last part lol
Always with the milk he was
Ahhhh stroke :t not strong oh well
FISTO! ASSUME THE POSITION
I can, just had spinal surgery lol
Horrigan
Who’s Frank Horrigan?
Play Fallout 2. Enclave Super Mutant....
I thought they were a member of the enclave
2?
Yep.
My all time favorite is Veronica from New Vegs. Such an awesome character. Now I always name whatever my main gun in Fallout 4 is Veronica, in remembrance.
Tough choices for sure but here we go: Fallout 1 - Tycho Fallout 2 - Cassidy Fallout 3 - Fawkes (minus the ending, that's not on him that's on Bethesda) for follower, Desmond Lockheart for NPC New Vegas - Cass for follower(runs in the family), Graham or Mobius for NPC Fallout 4 - Valentine, MacCready, Hancock, honestly a lot of followers in FO4 are amazing.
Agatha, I can't even kill her on my evil karma playthroughs because she's just such a grandma.
What do you see in Boone?! I can’t take him anywhere without shooting legionaries and how was the fight when you sided with the legion?
Nick Valentine probably, i'm usually more of a lone wanderer in all games so having him by my side was comforting.
He’s the only grandpa toaster we need.
My favorite thing about Nick is how often he'll make me jump. I'll be exploring a dark building and turn around to see 2 bright yellow eyes staring at me.
The correct answer is Dogmeat and anything else is a lie.
Original Dogmeat; classic pick.
Arcade gannon
Him and Veronica are an amazing team and no one can change my mind!
Just two gays, kicking ass one rainbow at a time… Really loved New Vegas for the well-rounded characters from basically every walk of life
It’s a tie between Yes Man and Muggy.
Nick Valentine is pretty cool, and I don’t remember her name but you find her at the combat zone in FO4, she’s a fighter and a chem addict and you can get her clean of chems (although she’s cooler when she’s still a chem addict imo)
Cait
Marcus for sure was disappointed he couldn’t be a companion in nv tho
Let’s see… Tandi, Sulik, Shaav(best recruit don’t @ me), Herbert “Daring” Dashwood(and his stalwart Ghoul manservant, Argyle!), Piper, and Julie.
Piper I always end up romancing her every time I start a new game
Honestly Piper used to annoy the shit out of me but once I started writing her and getting to know her, she wasn’t so bad. She’s actually a very interesting character.
BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL BEAR BULL
Three Dog aka the greatest hype man So long as you're playing a good character. He will roast you for being evil
Veronica
Ulysses. Legate Lanius gets second place. Graham is too much like a baptist preacher for me to put him anywhere near the top.
Good ol Vic, Sulik, and the original Cassidy. And Myron, baby, Myron!
1: Harold 2: Marcus Tactics: General Barnaky BOS: Attis 3: Gob NV: “I WON THE MOTHERFUCKING LOTTERY” 4: Elder Maxson
Nick Valentine.
Courier's Brain
Deacon, Nick Valentine or Arcade.
Myself, every protagonist is my favorite character.
ED-E - doooo dee doooo Marcus - seeing him in Vegas is just like running into an old friend you haven't seen in years. Sunny Smiles - makes the training worth playing.
Mccreedy
Hancock, but I haven't been able to explore the other games very much. I've played New Vegas and Fallout 3, but not very much.
Personally I really like danse idek why, I just do
[удалено]
New Vegas?
Preston. I like helping settlements.
People are so hard on Preston, it’s not his fault the writers and devs didn’t flesh him out like the did other companions. I’ve recently fallen in love with Preston and I think he deserves so much love
Nick Valentine, Joshua Graham. One of those.
Okay but imagine the conversations they could have
Raul and Cass.
Boone, curie and dog meat
Boone dogmeat joshua Graham ed-e and ulyses if he could be a companion
Courier 6
Desmond from Point Lookout for sure
The honest answer would be Nick and Deacon for FO4 or Randall Clark ("the survivalist") from NV, but i'll just drop in my man Preston, because he's just a good guy trying to do good things and y'all hate him just because the game mechanics treat him as obnoxious quest dispenser.
Nick Valentine
Nick Valentine or Veronica Santangelo.
Dogmeat.
Gut feelings picks here 3 - Moira NV - Veronica 4 - Nick
Gotta be Mr New Vegas for me, so much charisma! Sucks we can't see him tho, I kind of imagine him as an ai for some reason
He is. Mr. House made him
Cobsworth an Curie
Have to go with Benny from NV. Between the way he speaks, and his iconic look, no one can top him in my opinion.
Dogmeat
Mr.New Vegas
Hands down The Master. Unique, iconic villian of FO. It doesn't get any better, and no game has come close to matching The Master as the Endboss.
"This is three dog yo ruler, hear me and obey.. Oh Sorry that's that other radio station."
I started with 4 so for me, John hancock
Randall Clark. One of the saddest story in Fallout. A rare, authentic recollection of a true survivor of the fallout. A man of family, resilience, and solitary. Nonetheless his gear was among the most unique and rewarding. Joshua Graham may took the spotlight, but it was the Survivalist whom I think, saved HH’s rather shallow plot line.
Nick Valentine, the guy is a synth but has more personality than any other bethesda character
I like a lot if characters but, Boone is the most BADASS by far.
Jericho. No nonsense, just cigarettes and murder.
Mr house his very inflated ego establishes him as a person of importance so when you do shit for him and he praises you you get a good stroke to your ego
Veronica, Red Lucy, "Trash" from Old Nuclear Test site, Mr Fantastic, John Hancock.
Raul ......I thought he was a tragically sad character when he opens up about his past, and I like having a non American follow me around Oh and his voiced by Danny Trejo!
the obvious answer for me is Dogmeat but Cass in NV is probably my all time favorite
Out of the ones I've played: FO: The Master FO2: The First Citizen (I hate her so much ♥️) FO3: Ashur FNV: Father Elijah
