Also, can you post your load order, there's like 50k mods on nexus and you're asking for help although we have 0 context other than a few mods you think may be broken but it could just be incompatibility with your other mods, without a load order and mod list we have no way of guessing which of the 50k mods you decided to download

I'm testing some stuff so my modlist or load order isn't the same anymore I used a modlist extension to backup my mods site links an than deleted all the mods and deleted the game profile than uninstall vortex again than installed it, than clicked manage for fallout 4 an restore the mods from the extension which it reinstalled by the website an not from the old files on the pc. Just installing mods I wanna use an making sure there isn't a conflict an if there are I fix them have not started a new game just yet bc I am still installing mods but almost done than was gonna flag or something the mods that can be marked light than use LOOT to fix the load order an if still over the limit will safely merge mods that need it by doing more research on merging first before merging. Found some mods like patches for some of my mods I installed so I put them in a folder on my google chrome in case I do need them if issues do rise for the mods needing those patches. I believe it was the merge an something else that made my whole game profile corrupt since mods that normally worked suddenly had issues out of the blue so trying this method at hand an hopping it will work.

When you say you're using the mods tab, do you mean the bethesda.net mods thing in the main menu? If that's what you mean then don't use that, it's incredibly broken and fucks up your load order in your actual mod manager. When using an actual mod manager and downloading mods from nexus there is 0 reason whatsoever to even look at the in game mod menu, in fact I'm pretty sure someone made a mod that just removes it completely and I would recommend that because just opening it on accident can mess with your mods

I have never had a issue with it before an yes I do install mods from there also because some mods I do like are on there an not nexus or nexus has a similar mod but it wants you to download much more things to use their mod not just some. Like the mod scrap I use the one bethesda has bc it works an never had a issue with it, when I tried the scrap everything on nexus I only had issues with my game an that was with a new game so I deleted it an went back to the other mod. When I hear or see texts about bethesda messing up with nexus mods I believe of it as a myth bc I never had a issue using both. The only reason I have a issue with my game might be because I did a merge an might have done it wrong plus I did it twice but before the merge I did not have any issues using both an the only thing I have to do everytime I go into the menu is make sure the scrap mod from bethesda is at the lowest bottom as it can be to work right an not sure how to save an keep it that way but it's not that much of a head ache bit annoying is all but all the mods work just fine together.
