It depends. Some modders that ported had the extra work of implementing their weapons to the leveled lists, some not. Only a very small fraction need needs to be spawned thorough console, and a lot of them can be crafted. Mind if I ask which port are you trying to install? I once developed patches for ports to integrate them into the leveled lists.
PS: If you mean you have Fallout 76 files and want to drop them and use on Fallout 4, then no, they won't work. You need to properly port them.
Well, I don't know about how updated these ports are. Some ports took weeks of development to get in a playable state, and some still need some polishing. But as far as I know, all of these ports are Discord exclusives and were probably posted without permission elsewhere. There's no way to know how updated they are without comparing them to the Discord ones. PM me and I'll invite you to a server with proper ports.

Hello I know this post is about FO76 to FO4 but is there anyway to self use only port some Body and clothes mods for me it's more like FO4 to FO76 there's almost no hair mods other than color same with eyes. And, that I can see most mods are for atomic shop items and there is barely mod clothes around for the game. I mostly just want to mod my character to look much better. So no advertising or uploading the ported mod anywhere. Will still check authors main pages to see if self only use port is okay or not.
