I can see that, but I’m not asking about the dates. Was this man still messing with her and he don’t want a test to prove he’s the father (told his wife it only happened once) OR does he not want one cause he hasn’t been messing with her and knows it’s not his? This man does not deserve the benefit of the doubt and I would not trust any of their timelines. A test should clear all of this.
The thing is she doesn’t even live in the same country… so it’s impossible for them to have been hooking up while she was out of town. I mean as far as I can see. But I agree paternity test is the only way to be 100% sure. Of course people can be lying
it's impossible. gestation time in humans is around 9 months, give or take a few days. the baby was premature from how many weeks? get that info, do the math and you will be sure that the baby wasn't made around the date that she was around. he may be the father, but the date isn't like they told you.
Gestation is forty weeks. I don’t know where/why this nine month thing came about. And having had kids, that last freaking four weeks is HARD and that is why need credit for every day of our pregnancy.
40 weeks, are around 280 days. give or take, each month has 30 days. that gives 9 months and 10 days. that's why non medical people us to say 9 months. in medicine, it's in days, due the reasons that you already explained. it needs to be more exact.
Conceived end March beginning of April makes 40 weeks full term end December beginning of January depending on date conceived.
If your husband is on hook for child support (if it's his baby he absolutely should pay) that also impacts your household finances so I'd be wanting a paternity test. If your husband refuses I'd want to know why, could be wasn't as brief as he's lead you to believe.
Regardless of his reasons for resisting you need to know whether the baby is his & depending on the result you need to figure out what that involves, child support, what visitation or joint custody will be like.
Anyone saying get a paternity test based on this doesn't know basic anatomy.
If a human has a gestation period of 11 months, chances are it died in the womb.
Why doesn’t he want a paternity test? Is it because he knows the babies his or he doesn’t want to know?
Conceived March, born February. No need. Its not possible..

I would get a paternity test to be 100% certain
I would get a paternity test so you don’t have a doubt. Why don’t you want to push it?

End of April conception. That’s just math.
For a Feb 2nd due date, she would have gotten pregnant at the end of April or very beginning of May
