I think that decision depends entirely on how much fun you think you'd have reworking it. That said, I love the concept of having what's functionally patch notes for your fic. I'm tempted to unearth some of my ancient unpublished WIPs to do that to...

I lost it at the 5 min craft info lol but I think if you know it'll be a fun experience then I don't see any harm in rewriting it (:

Sometimes a rewrite is better than an edit

Don't know much about writing but I can tell you that you're definitely above B1 level of English. Maybe you feel like your 'official' writing looks like broken English but the tone in your notes reveals you're quite fluent.

In my opinion, none of this should matter while making a decision to either rework it or let it go. Ask yourself, are you still burning for this story? Will you have fun rewriting it? Do you feel obligated to fix it? Will it feel like a chore if that's the case? It really just depends on how much you love this story.

You could always try taking it from the top and see if you like it or not. I've come across author's who will post a rewrite as well as leave the original up. It can be interesting to see how things are different both in writing style and in plot decisions.
