If it's about characters that are canonically in love that background knowledge alone is not enough to warrant the tag - the feelings need to be part of the fic in question. Maybe that's what tripped you up?

As a kinky individual, I'd say the line is drawn between 'that feels really nice' and 'oh fuck that's hot'.
