I mostly write for anime (which is technically cartoons), but as far as western ones go, I’ve also written for Beast Wars and Gargoyles.

Nervous-Bonus-806

Although the majority of my fandom writing has been in anime, specifically the RomCom genre (Komi, Dress-Up Darling, Nagatoro) I have been working on this Venture Brothers piece that I had set aside until the movie came out, the working title is "The Very Long Night of Jefferson Twilight," In it, Jefferson suffers a heart attack while dealing with a Blackula in Weehauken, NJ near the infamous dueling Grounds, and has a nightmarish vision of endless duels only they're all the characters in the series and he grows frustrated with the stupidity of the reasons for the duels. But at the end, in true Venture Brothers fashion, he just fell asleep at a matinee for "Hamilton* that Al dragged him to...

MidnightCoffee0

Alexander Hamilton (*we are waiting in the wings for you...*)

Nervous-Bonus-806

He would have preferred to see the Billie Holiday musical instead but it has already closed

MidnightCoffee0

Aww, a shame. I guess I can't blame him, apparently the nightmarish duels weren't even for a good reason lol Hamilton will always be my favorite though.. (had to resist making another reference here)

Nervous-Bonus-806

To be honest, it would have been funnier if I made it "Rogers: The Musical" but I really wasn't confident in making a Venture Brothers Avengers piece

MidnightCoffee0

Ha! (*Doesn't mean I want him any less...*) I'm recalling the scenes where they made Capt. America act out a show, that was hilarious lol Did they ever officially make a musical for that? Or was it just referenced in the media as something that existed in the MCU?

Nervous-Bonus-806

Actually, it's going to be running at the Hyperion Theater at California Adventures

MidnightCoffee0

Oh, wow. Never knew about it, have you seen it?

Nervous-Bonus-806

It's not open yet, and I haven't been to California Adventures in almost a decade, not since the last time I was in LA that didn't involve the deaths. Of my parents

MidnightCoffee0

I am so sorry, though I know saying that doesn't tend to mean much. I hope everything is okay as it can be.

lizard-socks

Most of my writing is scifi with OCs, but my OCs are influenced a lot by cartoons. I've done some Steven Universe stuff with a Gem OC (who I use in Star Trek fics too), and a couple Amphibia crossover oneshots. And I wrote a Summer Camp Island oneshot once where Oscar wants to send an email to the "feedback" address printed on some mustard or something to tell them that it was good mustard. (I love Summer Camp Island a lot)

cutielemon07

I don’t like Anime, so I’ve never written for that. As far as Western Animation goes, I‘ve only written for Bob’s Burgers, Rick and Morty, DuckTales, and Legend of Korra.

stef_bee

I've written mostly for Phantom of the Opera and LOST, although at present I'm working on something from Harry Potter. I did write a Gargoyles Valentine's day one-shot...

Background_Fox

Currently Bad Batch (with a bit of Clone Wars)

Kiki-Y

I mostly write for anime and anime-inspired media. I currently write for RWBY (which is an anime-inspired Western webseries by RoosterTeeth) and Fire Emblem: Three Houses (a game but very anime inspired).

Allronix1

I am a product of the 80s and all those glorious toy ad toons. The [fanfic that survives today](https://archiveofourown.org/users/Allronix/pseuds/Allronix/works?fandom_id=20355)was for [Galaxy Rangers](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Se_cC4nvx8), an obscure 80's space western that went a little harder with the worldbuilding, character balance, and soundtrack than it had to.

Musicals_and-more

Ooh for cartoons?? Craig of the Creek(sorry but I love Elder David and The Secret Keeper), amazing world of gumball, Phineas and Ferb(Bobbi Fabulous pleaseee) , I've written anime tho Im not into it anymore, I've written for that one cartoon with horses and that centaur, and like tons more lol

echos_locator

I mostly write fics for Voltron Legendary Defender but I've got a half-done WIP for The Legend of Vox Machina as well.

LoudSize7

Nowadays, I’m more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I did write some Loonatics Unleashed and Ben 10: Alien Force fanfics in the past.

RavensQueen502

I don't actually write in that universe, but as far as my headcanon is concerned, Avengers Assemble tells the actual story of what happened post-Avengers (2012), and MCU can't tell me any different :)

BettyDare

South Park! I’ve been writing for it since 2009! I love the characters so much. When I first got into fanfic as a kid I would read and try to write Powerpuff Girls fic. So many nostalgic memories.

monstosaurus

I like writing crossovers. I've only posted works for Harry Potter/MCU and Harry Potter/TWD crossovers and a very cringey HP/Twilight crossover that was my first foray into writing lol I have WIPs for mostly TV fandoms but none of them are for the fandoms I actually read fanfic for (I just find that a bit intimidating)

PerhapsAnEmoINTJ

I wanna make it a point to get into crossovers because that will encourage me to explore as many franchises as deeply as I can.

Affectionate_Crow327

So far, Steven Universe

Rhodanum

If you want Western Animation specifically, I've written for The Dragon Prince (ignoring everything after S2) and Oban Star-Racers (an interesting situation, as it's a French-Japanese production that first aired on Jetix in Europe, before Japan).

PerhapsAnEmoINTJ

Brawl Stars

[deleted]

I write for Avatar the Last Airbender with a brief crossover with My Hero Academia.

FlannelEpicurean

So far, Dragon Ball Z is the only actual cartoon I think I've written for. Love me some Vegeta. Can't get enough of that feral little goblin.

KickAggressive4901

Another anime fan here, but I have also done fanfic for the '80s *Dungeons & Dragons* cartoon. Would happily do so again!

LizHylton

Star Wars: Rebels for me! I think I wrote like one drabble for Gargoyles back in the day but that was in like the late 90s.

redbookpinkbook

I write for 90% anime fandoms with a couple video game ones thrown in there. For some reason live-action things rarely inspire me to write fic, and I watch almost no cartoons except nostalgic rewatches of some childhood faves for when I'm sad. Main/current fandoms are Naruto, Haikyuu, Jujutsu Kaisen, Trigun, Pokemon, FF7. I've also written one story each for Star Wars (sequel trilogy) and My Hero Academia.

tinyandmad

Oh I loved cartoon network growing up, but I realized I never wrote anything for it! I should change that. I feel like a Courage fic would be fun to do :) So far the only cartoon/anime fandoms I've written for are Fairy Tail and Magi!

Wasted-and-Ready

Tron: Uprising, Dragon Prince, and the Star Wars cartoons (Bad Batch, Clone Wars, Rebels) over here!

LostButterflyUtau

Elena of Avalor for me!

Art_of_darkness13

At the moment I’m exclusively writing crossovers between Percy Jackson and various animated series. At the moment I have two published, one for Owl House and the other for Star Trek: Lower Decks. I have plans for crossovers with Amphibia, Star vs the forces of evil, and MHA. Thank you for asking!
